Flash Fit Winter Youth Running Series Race Information

<p>This 6-week program will help kids of all ages build their running endurance and know when to play it safe and when to turn on the gas! Most sports Arlington kids play require running - either anaerobic bursts or more continuous aerobic efforts - so we will work on building their base.</p> <p><strong>Details:</strong></p> <ul><li><strong>Tuesdays at 5:20pm.</strong></li><li>Meeting at <strong>Washington-Liberty High School track.</strong> All sessions will involve a warm-up run - either around the school grounds or on the track - followed by a series of practice races (100m, 200m, 400m). Each child can pick which race(s) they want to participate in each week! We&#39;ll have them work on improving their performance over the course of the program.</li><li>Starting <strong>January 13th</strong> and wrapping up on <strong>February 17</strong><strong>th</strong><strong>.</strong></li><li>Appropriate for kids <b>of all ages, </b>though parents should expect to participate (at no cost) with younger children.</li><li><strong>Parents run along for free</strong> - you don&#39;t need to register and run at your own risk, of course, but you are encouraged to join! </li><li>The kids will all receive a <strong>post-run snack </strong>at the end of each run.</li><li>All kids will receive a <strong>medal and trophy at the end of the program</strong> - help your kids work toward that goal!</li></ul> <p> </p>
