<p><span style="font-size:14pt"><strong>Come join the fun at the first annual <span style="background-color:rgb( 224 , 62 , 45 );color:rgb( 255 , 255 , 255 );font-size:18pt">FALCON-THUNDER FUN RUN</span> at Atwater High School on Sat. Aug. 23rd!!!</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14pt">Runners and Walkers of all ages and abilities are invited to join us as we support student-athletes from <span style="color:rgb( 236 , 240 , 241 );background-color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 )"><strong><span style="background-color:rgb( 255 , 255 , 255 );color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Atwater HS</span></strong></span><span style="background-color:rgb( 255 , 255 , 255 );color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )"> </span>and <span style="background-color:rgb( 255 , 255 , 255 );color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )"><strong>Buhach Colony HS</strong> </span>in the following Girls and Boys sports:  <strong>Cross Country, Tennis, and Track &amp; Field</strong>.  The first annual <span style="background-color:rgb( 224 , 62 , 45 );color:rgb( 255 , 255 , 255 );font-size:18pt"><strong>FALCON-THUNDER FUN RUN</strong><span style="background-color:rgb( 255 , 255 , 255 )"> </span></span>will take place at Dave Honey Stadium on the campus of Atwater HS.  You pick the distance and you pick the team you want your support to go to.   Strollers are welcome and all babies are free with the parent&#39;s paid registration.  Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on our campus, unless they are legally trained service animals.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14pt"><strong>1.  Same Day Registration and Packet Pick-up OPENS at 6:45am.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14pt"><strong>2.  Same Day Registration CLOSES at 7:45am.</strong> </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14pt"><strong>3.  Events and Start Times:</strong></span></p> <ul><li style="font-size:14pt"><span style="font-size:14pt"><strong>400m Kids Race </strong>starts at <strong>8:00am.</strong></span></li><li style="font-size:14pt"><span style="font-size:14pt"><strong>1 Mile Run/Walk</strong> starts at <strong>8:20am.</strong></span></li><li style="font-size:14pt"><span style="font-size:14pt"><strong>2 Mile Run/Walk</strong> starts at <strong>8:20am.</strong></span></li><li style="font-size:14pt"><span style="font-size:14pt"><strong>5K (3.1 Miles)</strong> starts at <strong>8:20am.</strong></span></li></ul> <p><span style="font-size:14pt"><strong>4.  Finisher&#39;s Medals and Awards:</strong></span></p> <ul><li style="font-size:14pt"><span style="font-size:14pt"><strong>400m Kids Race</strong> = <strong>All finishers</strong> get a medal (kids 10 and under only).</span></li><li style="font-size:14pt"><span style="font-size:14pt"><strong>1 Mile Run/Walk</strong> = Top <strong>10 males</strong> and top <strong>10 females </strong>(open to all ages)</span></li><li style="font-size:14pt"><span style="font-size:14pt"><strong>2 Mile Run/Walk</strong> = Top <strong>15 males</strong> and top <strong>15 females </strong>(open to all ages)</span></li><li style="font-size:14pt"><span style="font-size:14pt"><strong>5K (3.1 Miles) Run/Walk</strong> = Top <strong>20 males</strong> and top <strong>20 females </strong>(open to all ages)</span></li><li style="font-size:14pt"><span style="font-size:14pt"><strong>Plus several special awards</strong> such as:  Most Spirited Group, Best Costumes, Best Finish Line Celebration, and more!</span></li></ul> <p style="font-size:14pt"><strong><span style="font-size:14pt">5.  Raffle Prizes:</span></strong></p> <ul><li><span style="font-size:14pt">Come for the fun!  Stay for the Raffle!  Your race bib is your ticket to win one of several raffle prizes...from local restaurants and coffee shops to race apparel (must be present to win). </span></li></ul> <p><span style="font-size:14pt"><strong>Stay safe!  Stay healthy!  And we will see you at the race!</strong></span></p>
