<p>Lace Up El Paso is proud to introduce the Inaugural El Paso Sunrise Series!</p> <p> </p> <p>FIVE - 5k’s ran throughout the city of El Paso with the Season Finale taking place at El Paso’s locally owned specialty running shop, Up and Running!</p> <p> </p> <p>DATES and LOCATIONS</p> <p>June 07, 2025 – Eastside Sports Complex</p> <p>June 21, 2025 –  Album Park</p> <p>June 28, 2025 – Ascarate Park</p> <p>July 12, 2025 – Memorial Park</p> <p>July 26, 2025 – Up and Running Season Finale!</p> <p> </p> <p>WHAT YOU GET!</p> <p>Finisher’s Medal!</p> <p>Custom El Paso Sunrise Series Medal for all registered participants! </p> <p>Custom Medal Add-ons for each event you complete!</p> <p>Complete all FIVE events across El Paso to complete your El Paso Sunrise Series Medal! (Virtual options available - mailing fees apply)</p> <p>Register for the full series and receive a discount!</p> <p>Note – Guaranteed medal to the first 200 registered before May 01, 2025. If you register after this date, you will still receive a finisher’s medal, but you might receive it after the season starts.</p> <p> </p> <p>Giveaways! </p> <p>Each event will have its own unique giveaway!!! </p> <p>Sign up for each event so you don’t miss out on the amazing swag! </p> <p>Giveaways are limited and guaranteed only to the first 200 registered participants of each event. </p> <p> </p> <p>For events with shirt giveaways, please note that shirt and/or shirt size are not guaranteed for those who register after May 01, 2025. The first 200 registered participants will receive a shirt, however, if you register after May 01, 2025, you may receive your shirt AFTER the event.</p> <p> </p> <p>Awards:</p> <p>Age Group Awards for the Top Three Finishers in each Age Group at each live event. Our age groups are the following: 10 &amp; under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 &amp; over. There are no ‘overall’ awards at each event because this is a series. There will be Custom Awards to the OVERALL Fastest Males and Females (1st, 2nd, 3rd) of the Series! There will also be awards for the LARGEST Teams (1st, 2nd, 3rd) of the series. These will be awarded at the Up and Running Season Finale. There are no awards for virtual events.</p> <p> </p> <p>Strava Crowns:</p> <p>Each event will have Strava segments up for grabs!</p> <p>Find the segments, Lace Up and earn that crown! </p> <p> </p> <p>Post-Race</p> <p>Runner&#39;s Party at all events; popsicles, water, vendors, music.</p> <p> </p> <p>Packet Pickup:</p> <p>Each event will have its own packet pickup. This will take place on Thursday and Friday before each scheduled event. We will post each packet pickup location both here and on Lace Up El Paso&#39;s IG page. There will be no race day packet pickup. If traveling or to make arrangements for pick up, please contact race director.</p> <p> </p> <p>Race Day Information:</p> <p>Race Day Registration will be available on RunSignUp.com, but ends sharply at 6:15am, no exceptions. </p> <p> </p> <p>Schedule: 5:30am – 10am. </p> <p>5:30 – 6:15        Vendor setup. (Vendor setup closes at 6:15, no more vehicles allowed in vendor area. Vendors will need to hand carry any items into the vendor area)</p> <p>6:15                   Race Day registration closes.</p> <p>6:20                   Volunteer meeting</p> <p>6:30 – 6:45        Announcements, Warm Up and National Anthem.</p> <p>6:45                   5k Start!</p> <p>8:30                   Awards Ceremony!</p> <p>9:30                   Event ends. Clean up and Vendor area clearing. </p> <p>10:00                 Event area cleared. </p> <p> </p> <p>Yes, we welcome wheelchairs and strollers out on the course. No bicycles, roller blades/skates, skateboards, wagons, scooters, motorized or electric devices. We are absolutely pet friendly! (Pets must be on a leash both on and off the course. You must pick up after your pets). </p> <p>Clarification: EPCC is unable to accept donations for scholarships because scholarship donations are regulated and capped by the National Junior College Athletic Association.  EPCC did not approve or sanction any fundraising for EPCC athletic scholarships, and any donations solicited for that purpose are unable to be used towards athletic scholarships, but can be used for general donation to any team in the EPCC Athletic Program; the EPCC Cross Country team.</p>
