In fact, every 40 seconds, someone in the U.S. suffers a heart attack or stroke, making these the top causes of death nationwide. UMC is proud to be recognized with the American Heart Association’s highest honors in stroke care, including the Gold Plus Stroke Elite Plus designation, thanks to our cutting-edge treatment protocols and exceptional neurosciences team.
