<p>Get your favorite hero costume ready for the 2026 Donate Life NC Hero Run! Join us in celebrating the hero in all of us as we run/walk/roll on the American Tobacco Trail in Durham and build awareness of organ, eye, and tissue donation in NC! </p> <p><strong>Race Description/Details*:</strong><br />The race will begin at Herndon Park in Durham. Runners and walkers will run an out-and-back on the American Tobacco Trail and finish at the park for refreshments and awards!</p> <p>Parking is located at Herndon Park, 511 Scott King Road in Durham. Follow our signs to the starting line.</p> <p>All funds support continued outreach and education statewide on the importance of organ, tissue, and eye donation.</p> <p><br /><strong>Registration Fees/Dates/Categories:<br /></strong>5K Run/Walk/Roll: $35.00 per person. Race registration includes a t-shirt, a bib with a timing chip, and refreshments after the event.</p> <p>1-mile fun run: $20.00 per person. The 1 Mile Fun Run includes a bib and the post-race party!</p> <p>Sleep in Superhero: $25.00 per person. Can&#39;t run or just don&#39;t want to get up early?
