<p>Please bring a CANned food item and join us for the 5th annual <strong>CAN the Bird 5K Turkey Trot, on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27</strong>, beginning at 8:00 am. The race will begin and end in the Walmart parking lot, 5885 Kingstowne Boulevard, Alexandria, VA 22315.<br /><br />All ages can enjoy a run, jog or stroll around Kingstowne and its scenic Lake.<br /><br /><strong>REGISTRATION</strong><br />Early Bird - through October 17<br />Adult 5K - $30<br />Military 5K - $25<br />25 &amp; Under - $20<br />12 &amp; Under - $10<br /><br />Standard Registration - October 18- November 21<br />Adult 5K- $35<br />Military 5K - $30<br />25 &amp; under - $25<br />12 &amp; under - $10<br /><br />Last Chance Registration - November 22-27<br />Adult 5K- $40<br />Military 5K - $35<br />25 &amp; under - $30<br />12 &amp; under - $10<br /><br />Online registration will close Thursday, November 27 at 7:45. Only online registration will be accepted. <br /><br /><strong>PACKET PICKUP</strong><br />Location: Koinonia Foundation, 6107 Franconia Rd, Alexandria, VA 22310 (the Olivet Campus of St Martin de Porres Episcopal Church, with the entrance on Beulah, north of the fire station.)<br />Monday 11/24 from 1-7pm<br />Tuesday 11/25 from 1-7pm<br />Wednesday 11/26 from 2-5PM</p> <p>Location: Walmart, 5885 Kingstowne Blvd, Alexandria, VA 22315<br />                Race Day, Nov 27th, 8:00-9:00 AM<br /><br />Participants will receive a commemorative race t-shirt.<br /><br /><strong>Awards</strong> will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers, top three male and female finishers in 12 &amp; Under and 13-18 age groups. Plus fastest male and female runner with dog and fastest male and female runner with stroller will receive an award.<br /><br />Donations of nonperishable food items will be accepted by Koinonia</p> <p><strong>Bring the family and enjoy a fun Thanksgiving Day morning run!</strong></p>
