<div class="container"> <p>Bucs Bounty 5K and 1mi Fun Run: <br />Collect Your Treasure!<br />The Bucs Bounty 5K and 1mi Fun Run is excited to launch its inaugural race on Saturday,<br />January 17, 2026! <br />Join us for a morning of fun and fitness as we support the students and programs of FSW Collegiate High School right on the beautiful Florida Southwestern State College (FSW) campus in Punta Gorda.</p> <p>The Course &amp; Race Options<br />We offer two great ways to participate: the 5K Run/Walk and the 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk.<br />The 5K course offers a truly scenic experience, winding through FSW&#39;s beautiful campus. <br />You&#39;ll run alongside our campus lake and beneath the majestic oak trees. The path is a mix of paved<br />roads, sidewalks, and parking lots.</p> <p>Race Packet Pick Up:<br />Thurs, Jan. 15th 6-7pm at FSWC<br />Race Day: at 7am<br /><br />Competitive Details &amp; Awards (5K Only)<br />Whether you&#39;re aiming for a personal best or just enjoying the view, we&#39;ve got you covered.<br />Professional timing services will be provided for all competitive 5K runners.<br />Awards will be for the fastest overall runners in these categories:<br /> Overall Top Adult Male and Female Finisher<br /> Overall Top Student Male and Female Finisher<br />Medals will be presented to the top two or three finishers (Male and Female) in a wide range of<br />age and master categories:<br /> Age Groups: 9-under, 10-12, 13-15,16-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70&#43;<br /> Master&amp; Divisions:<br />    Master (40&#43;)<br />    Grandmaster (50&#43;)<br />    Senior Grandmaster (60&#43;)<br />    Vetran Grandmaster (70&#43;)</p> <p>Wheelchair &amp; Start Times<br />Wheelchair racers are welcome in the 5K.<br />The 1-Mile Fun Run will start immediately after the 5K 7:30am Start </p> <p>Only non-motorized wheelchairs are permitted.<br />Race Swag &amp; Finding Your Bounty!</p> <p>All participants will receive a high-quality, short-sleeve Bucs Bounty 5K race t-shirt and a<br />numbered bib. <br />Register by December 17, 2025 to guarantee your shirt!<br />Embrace your inner Buccaneer! <br />Join our Best Buccaneer Costume Contest for a chance to win<br />a special prize!</p> <p><br />As you make your way along the course, keep your eye out for treasure! Beads will be thrown<br />out along the route—be sure to collect your bounty along the course!<br />Supporting Florida Southwestern Collegiate High School<br />All proceeds from the Bucs Bounty 5K and 1mi Fun Run go directly to Florida South, supporting<br />academic enrichment, student activities, and campus improvements.</p> <p>Thank you for investing in our students!</p> <p> </p> <p>As the first collegiate high school in Southwest Florida opened its doors in August of 2009, Florida SouthWestern Collegiate High School is located on the beautiful Charlotte Campus of Florida SouthWestern State College.  FSWC-Charlotte is designed to provide students of all ability levels an opportunity to graduate with both a high school diploma and an Associate of Arts (AA) degree.  FSWC-Charlotte students enjoy a college environment along with a vast array of resources provided by FSW while also maintaining the traditional elements of high school life. As a public charter high school, FSWC-Charlotte is free to students and has been consistently ranked as an “A” school by the Florida Department of Education!
