<p>The spirit of Santa is alive, well, and ready to run in the Lowcountry! Join us for the Community Santa Run (or Walk) 5K and the jolly “Santa Chase” Kids Fun Run, all supporting Bluffton Self Help and the families they serve.</p> <p><strong>Come Dressed for Holiday Fun!</strong><br />Break out your best holiday costume—ugly sweaters, elf ears, reindeer antlers, full Santa suits—and you might take home the Best Dressed Award!</p> <p><strong>A Snowy Finish Line</strong><br />The forecast? SNOW at the finish! Get ready for a winter wonderland moment you won’t forget.</p> <p><strong>Give Back &amp; Spread Chee</strong>r<br />Participants are encouraged to bring a new toy or non-perishable food item for Bluffton Self Help to help support community members through the holidays.</p> <p><strong>Warm Up After the Run</strong><br />Enjoy FREE hot chocolate sponsored by the PRC Run Club, along with food and beverage trucks. Afterward, stroll over to the nearby Shrimp Boat Park and soak up the community spirit.</p> <p><strong>Race Swag &amp; Award</strong><br />All participates who register by December 14th will receive a Community Santa Run 5K commemorative long sleeve shirt.<br />We’ll present awards for:</p> <p>Male &amp; female age groups: 12 &amp; under, 13–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70–79, 80&#43;<br />Top Dog Award (festive pups welcome)</p> <p><br />Join us for a holiday tradition filled with fitness, fun, and festive giving! <br /> </p> <p><strong>Kids’ Santa Chase – 200 Meters of Pure Holiday Fun! </strong></p> <p>Get ready for giggles, sugar rushes, and Santa-sized excitement! Bring the little ones to Martin Family Park for the Kids’ Santa Chase, a festive 200-meter dash where holiday magic meets kid-powered speed.</p> <p>Dress your kiddos in their most spirited holiday outfits—Santa hats, reindeer antlers, elf gear, sparkles… the more festive, the better! Then watch as they chase Santa himself around the park while he tosses candy canes, treats, and fun stocking stuffers along the way.</p> <p><strong>Bonus Holiday Cheer:</strong><br />All participating kids will receive a commemorative Santa shirt—the perfect keepsake to remember the fun!</p> <p>It’s short, sweet, safe, and packed with holiday magic—the perfect way to kick off the season and create memories that twinkle.</p> <p>Ready, set… chase Santa!</p> <p><b>Packet Pick Up:</b> Race packets will be available at Palmetto Running Company, 25 Minetta Lane, Bluffton Friday 3-5PM or 12/20, race morning starting at 8:00am at Martin Family Park.</p> <p><b>Race starts</b>: 9:00AM</p> <p><b>About Bluffton Self Help</b></p> <p>For more than 30 years, Bluffton Self Help has been providing basic needs and financial support to our community.
