BCH Foundation Trestle Hustle Race Information

<p>Join us for our 17th Annual Trestle Hustle hosted by the Boone County Hospital Foundation. For the 2026 event, we are offering an in-person event and a virtual option.</p> <p>All abilities are welcome, ages 14 and over. Participants of any age are welcome with a parent or guardian&#39;s signed consent. However, children ages 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult during the race. Athletes can choose to complete a Duathlon (2-mile run, 14-mile bike, 2-mile run) OR a 5K or 10K run on Saturday, June 20, beginning at 8:00 AM at the Madrid High Trestle Trail, beginning at Dalander Park / Johnson Trailhead (702 E 3rd St, Madrid, IA 50156).</p> <p>Our races will be chip-timed by True Time Racing Services. Age categories will be: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60&#43;.</p> <p>Please Note: If you want to run over the High Trestle Trail Bridge, the 10K is the only race to cross the bridge.<br /><br />Earlybird pricing is available through May 11<br />$50 - 5K/10K<br />$70 – DUATHLON<br /><br /></p> <p>After May 11, pricing increases<br />$65 - 5K/10K<br />$85– DUATHLON<br /><br /></p> <p>Virtual athletes will complete the race anytime between June 19-21.<br /><br /></p> <p><span style="margin:0px;padding:0px"><strong>Packet pick-up</strong> will be available the morning of the race, beginning at 7:00 am.</span></p> <p><b>Day of:<br /></b>Staff will provide hand sanitizer, fresh wipes, trash cans and bags, and other necessary cleaning supplies. Handwashing stations and portable toilets will be provided.</p> <p><br />VIRTUAL PARTICIPANTS CAN SUBMIT TIME ANY TIME BETWEEN JUNE 19-21 <br /><b>To enter a virtual race time</b><br />1. Go to the link (emailed to you)<br />2. Search for your name and click the &#34;Submit Virtual Time&#34; link next to your name<br />3. Enter your total running time and Date of Birth (to verify it is you)<br />3a.  Optional: submit a STRAVA, Garmin, Fitbit link from your run<br />4. Click the submit button</p> <p><br />After following these steps, your running time will be displayed on the results page.  <br />The age group and overall placement will be updated daily during the results submission period.</p> <p><u><b><br />Food and Awards<br /></b></u>We will provide &#34;grab and go&#34; foods such as granola bars and bottled water.</p> <p><br />Participants will receive a Finisher&#39;s Medal upon completion of the race. <br />We will also award both male and female 1st, 2nd &amp; 3rd places in each event and age category for the in-person event. <br />Virtual participants will be mailed a finisher&#39;s medal the week of June 21, 2026.<br />If you have questions or need anything additional, please let us know at <u>events&#64;bchmail.org.</u></p> <p><br />Thank you for choosing to be with us on June 20!<br /><br /></p> <p> </p>
