<p><strong>Join your coworkers for the Athene Employee 5K run, relay and 1 mile walk — the official kickoff to the Athene Moves Together Fall Challenge (October 2–19)!</strong></p> <p><br />This fun and energizing event is designed to support health, wellness, and teamwork while launching our two-week challenge. Whether you’re an experienced runner, a casual walker, or simply looking for a way to get active with colleagues, there’s an option for you:</p> <p><br /><strong>5K Run/Walk</strong> – Set your own pace and enjoy the challenge of a full 5K.<br /><strong>5K Relay</strong> – Team up and split the distance for a fun, shared experience.*<br /><strong>1-Mile Walk</strong> – Enjoy a shorter route while joining the community spirit.<br /><strong>Virtual Option</strong> – Participate from anywhere and keep moving toward prizes!</p> <p><br />&#x1f4cd; Location &amp; Time: Thursday, October 2, 3:00–5:00 PM, Athene campus backyard at 7700 Mills Civic Pkwy.</p> <p><br />&#x1f3bd; <strong>Race Bibs</strong>: Available the week of the race in the Champions Fitness Center. More details will be sent closer to race day about pick-up.</p> <p>&#x1f4ac; <strong>Eligibility</strong>: This event is open to Athene employees only. Please do not promote participation to others outside of the organization.</p> <p>☀️ <strong>Weather Policy</strong>: Event will be held rain or shine unless severe weather conditions require cancellation.</p> <p>&#x1f3b6; <strong>After the Race</strong>: Stick around for music, games, refreshments, and time to celebrate together! It’s a great chance to relax, connect with coworkers, and keep the energy high.</p> <p>&#x1f4f8; <strong>Event Photos</strong>: Photos/videos may be taken to celebrate and share our wellness journey as part of Athene Moves Together.</p> <p><br />This kickoff is all about promoting healthy lifestyles, building camaraderie, and celebrating wellness together as one Athene family.
