<p>Come SPLASH with us this April 26, 2026 at 2PM at the Bentonville Community Center (NEW DAY AND TIME)</p> <p>Kid&#39;s Splash and Dash is the first race in new AR/MO race series brought to you by Ozarks Youth Tri Seris that will feature six races, five in AR and one in MO.  Ages for the race series is age 6-15, age determined by the end of 12/31/2025.</p> <p> </p> <p>April 26 - Kid&#39;s Splash and Dash (Bentonville, AR)</p> <p>May 24 - Mount Sequoyah Triathlon (NEW - Fayetteville, AR)</p> <p>June 27 - Concrete Kids (Springfield, MO)</p> <p>July 26 Tentative - Conway Kid&#39;s Triathlon (Conway, AR)</p> <p>Aug. 16 - Broken Sword Triathlon (Clarksville, AR)</p> <p>Aug. 29 - Trifest for MS Series Championship (Bentonville, AR) - Points and Series Details at bottom of this description.</p> <p>Kid&#39;s Splash &amp; Dash Details Below:</p> <p>Kids aged 2-15 will participate in the Swim/Run event. Age is based on age as of 12/31/2025. </p> <p>It will be a fun afternoon full of swimming and running, snacks, music, and medals!</p> <p>The 8th Annual Kid&#39;s Splash &amp; Dash is an event held in partnership with USA Triathlon. The mission is to provide kids a safe, fun introduction to multisport.</p> <p><b>What’s Splash &amp; Dash?</b><br />Splash &amp; Dash is a USA Triathlon national series that provides a fun, safe introduction to multisport.  This event is a kick off race for NEW OZ Kids AR/MO race series.  The series championship will be at the 15th Annual Trifest for MS triathlon festival that occurs Sept. 4, 5 and 6th.  </p> <p style="line-height:1"><strong>What’s is the Ozarks Youth Tri Seris -  AR/MO Race Series?</strong><br />This NEW series was formed to promote the introduction of multi-sport triathlon to our region for the child beginning, excelling or advancing in the sport.  Triathlon is intended to be a FUN experience for the child no matter the level of competition they seek.  The goal of the series is to introduce more kids to the sport of triathlon while providing an avenue for kids to race local and within 2 hours of NWA.  </p> <p style="line-height:1">SERIES: SCORING:</p> <p>Race age groups based on age as of 12/31/25</p> <p>Series Age group awards for 6-15 years old</p> <p>The top 4 scores for each individual will count towards their series score. These 4 scores will be added together to create a cumulative score for the series.</p> <p>6–8-year-olds required to participate in a minimum of 3 races to qualify for the series with 1 race outside of your zone.  (Zone is outside the area where you live)</p> <p>9–15-year-olds required to participate in a minimum of 4 races to qualify for the series with 1 race outside of your zone.</p> <p>1st place athlete in each age group will receive 50 points, and each place behind that will receive 2 points less. Everyone placing in places past 25th will receive 2 points.</p> <p>Results and standings will live on Ozarkfoundation.org/ozkids</p> <p>Series award/swag for participants who compete in all 6 races.</p> <p>Heartland Racing to collect csv file from each race and upload results to Ozarkfoundation.org/ozkids</p> <p>Each race to share updated results with participants following each race</p> <p>Tiebreakers:  TriFest for MS head-to-head results</p> <p style="line-height:1"> </p> <p> </p>
