5K for Aidan J. Heart-Safe Communities

JOIN US for the 13th annual 5K for Aidan J. Run/Walk for Heart-Safe Communities!  

This fast, flat and shady course is perfect for first-timers and runners who are reaching for a PR!  We also have a 1-mile walk, kids races, and virtual 5K and walk options.  Medals awarded for the teams (the fastest and the most fundraising-est), place winners from each age category, and every child who crosses the finish line in the Kids Races.  Top male and female runners overall win $50 cash.

The 5K race is chip-timed, and all runners and 1 mile walkers will receive bibs.  Bryn Mawr Race Management will be providing chip-timing services for runners. Runner results will be posted immediately on a flat-screen and online.  

Special Pricing for Students and Seniors! Registration for the 5K is only $25 for runners between ages 5-22 and 65-103, and $15 for the 1 Mile Walk for Students and Seniors. Save another $5 with the Early Bird discount through June 30th! The discount price will be reflected at checkout.

Free T-shirt with registration through June 30th.  After June 30th, shirts will be available for purchase with your registration ticket either online or at the race.  

Registration is open until Friday, September 12th.  Race day registration prices increase $5 per participant for the 5K and 1 Mile Walk.

When you register, create a team or your own fundraising page!  Both are super easy to do through this website.  Building teams and reaching out to your family and friends to support your fundraising page are a force multiplier for our 5K event.  Registration prices cover our event fees; we count on donations and sponsorships to actually raise funds for our foundation's programming.

Please, no dogs for this event.  Strollers are permitted for 1 Mile Family Walk but not for the 5K Run due to limited space on the trail.
