CITY OF BETTENDORF
2025 Halloween Parade
Saturday, October 25th, 2025 at 6:30pm
Line-up will begin at 5:00pm and will end at 6:00pm at the Bettendorf Middle School parking lot. Please enter the parking lot from 18th Street. The Civil Air Patrol will assist participants upon arrival.
The parade will begin at 18th Street from Bettendorf Middle School. The procession will travel up 18th turning right on Spruce Hills Drive, turning right on Middle Road and finishing at the Bettendorf Middle School parking lot.
Groups are encouraged to carpool to avoid traffic tie-ups, lost children, and parking problems in the line-up area. Please follow the traffic signs posted for the day’s event.
All candy must be passed out person to person. Dropping of candy in front of persons along the parade route is permitted, as long as the viewer is sitting / standing on the curb, or in the grassy area along the parade route. Violators will be given one warning. After the first warning, the entry will be removed from the parade and directed off the parade route at a safe location. A record of entries will be kept. If an entry is found to violate this directive in any future parade, they will be banned from participating in any future parades in Bettendorf, Iowa.
NO handing out of paper products of any kind. (Fliers, pamphlets, etc.).

Registrations must be received by 5:00pm with appropriate fees by these dates:
By October 14th $20.00 * From October 15th – 22nd $50.00

Participants will be contacted by email October 24th with parade line-up details.
Parade line-up will begin at 5:00pm and end at 6:00pm. Once line-up ends, all streets will be closed, and no one will be allowed to enter or exit the lineup. The line-up/staging area will be at the Bettendorf Middle School parking lot.
Vehicles/Floats/Trailers IN the parade MUST enter the parking lot from 18th Street.
Vehicles NOT in the parade and those dropping off parade participants should do so in the Bettendorf Middle School parking lot off Middle Road.
