<p>Now in its 17th year, the YMCA of Lincoln Turkey Trot presented by Union Bank &amp; Trust returns as one of the area&#39;s highly favored family traditions on Thanksgiving morning. Choose from a Tot Trot (1 city block dash for youth up to 5 years old, parents welcome), 1-Mile Fun Run &amp; Walk, or a 5K Race either in-person or virtually (Trot at Home). Runners and walkers of all levels are welcome! Race proceeds benefit the <a href="https://www.ymcalincoln.org/ymca-annual-fundraising-campaign" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">YMCA&#39;s Annual Fundraising Campaign</a> so that more youth, families, and seniors can experience the Y.</p> <ul><li><b>Race Day Notes</b> <ul><li>Strollers are allowed in all of the events. Dogs are not allowed on the course during any of the races.</li><li>Open to the public, online registration required.</li><li>All races will run as scheduled...rain, snow, or extreme cold. Please dress appropriately.</li><li>No refunds on entry fees.</li></ul> </li><li><b>Race Times </b> <ul><li>7:45 am Tot Trot (1 city block dash, parents are welcome to join)</li><li>8:00 am 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk </li><li>8:30 am 5K Race  </li><li>9:15 am Awards Ceremony </li></ul> </li><li><b>Race Location</b> <ul><li>Packet pick-up is located at the Cooper YMCA, 6767 S. 14th St.</li><li>The Tot Trot, 1-Mile, and 5K Race and post-race awards will be held<span style="background-color:#ffffff"> in <b>Downtown Lincoln at the Railyard, 350 Canopy St </b></span></li><li><span style="background-color:#ffffff">Free parking is available at the Pinnacle Bank Arena Festival Lot, just north of Pinnacle Bank Arena, 901 V Street. After parking, walk across the West Haymarket Pedestrian Bridge to the Railyard. All vehicles must exit the lot by 3:00 pm the day of the event. Paid parking is also available in surrounding downtown parking garages.</span></li><li>Map of race course is located below</li></ul> </li><li><strong>Race Prizes</strong><br /> <ul><li>Small prizes will be provided to youth finishers of the Tot Trot and 1-Mile events.</li><li>In the 5K Race, the top in-person male and female finishers in the following age divisions will each receive a medal: <ul><li>12 &amp; Under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60&#43;</li></ul> </li><li>The overall in-person male and female finishers of the 5K will receive a medal and additional prize.</li></ul> </li><li><b>Fees for In-Person and Trot at Home option </b> <ul><li>FREE Tot Trot (race t-shirt not provided). Registration is required. </li><li>$21 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk</li><li>$36 5K Individual Entry</li><li>$75 per family with participants taking part in the 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk. Family consists of 2 adults 22 years of age or older and children under 24 years of age living at the same address full-time, with a maximum of 5 family members. Additional family entries are $10 per child. Family pricing is not available for the 5K Race. </li><li>Late registration fee of $10/person will be added for entries received after November 23.</li></ul> </li><li><strong>Race Apparel and Registration </strong> <ul><li>Early registration deadline is Sunday, November 23. Entries for the 1-Mile and 5K events on or before this date will receive a soft-cotton blend t-shirt.</li><li>Long sleeve t-shirt option: For an additional fee you may upgrade to a long sleeve version of the 2025 Turkey Trot shirt. See design below!</li><li>Signature Turkey Trot beanies and trucker hats will be available to purchase for an additional fee while supplies last. See design below!</li><li>No on-site exchanges will be available. We will be happy to exchange sizes the week following the event if inventory is available (contact Race Director.)</li><li>Late registration is Monday, November 24 - Thursday, November 27, 7:30 am. Online registration is available through 7:30 am on Thanksgiving morning. There will be no on-site registration available. </li><li>Entries received after November 23 will receive a Turkey Trot hat or beanie instead of a t-shirt, while supplies last.</li><li>While the Tot Trot is FREE, there will be no apparel given to participants.
