WMU Turkey Trot Race Information

<h5><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>About This Event</strong></span></h5> <p>The WMU Turkey Trot continues its annual tradition this year!  You can run your race with everyone else at WMU or anywhere (your neighborhood, local park, trail, or even a treadmill).  </p> <h5><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Live Event</strong></span></h5> <ul><li><b>Two options for registration</b> - <ul><li>Just the Race (no shirt) - $25</li><li>All the Swag (Dri-Fit Race Shirt) - $40</li><li><i>Options will be completed during the registration process.</i></li></ul> </li><li><b>Runners can have their items shipped to them (participants will pay the shipping fee) or pick up your shirt at our Packet Pick-Up.</b></li><li><b>The in-person race begins Saturday, Nov. 22, at 8:30 a.m.</b></li></ul> <h5><u><b>Packet Pickup Times</b></u></h5> <ul><li><b>Participants that choose the packet pick-up option will be able to pick up their items on Friday, Nov. 21, from 4 to 7 p.m.</b></li><li><b>Dates and times are subject to change.</b></li><li><b>The packet pick-up will be in the WMU Student Recreation Center - Indoor Tennis Courts.</b></li></ul> <h5><u><b>Online Registration</b></u></h5> <ul><li><b>Online Regular Registration - Deadline Nov. 20, 11:59 p.m. EST ($25.00 Race Fee)</b></li><li><b>Online Late Registration - Nov. 21 and Nov. 22 ($30.00 Race Fee)</b></li><li><b>Register by Nov. 1 to guarantee your shirt size!</b></li><li><b>Any registrations submitted after Nov. 1st will not be guaranteed their shirt size.</b><br /><b>Two options for registration:</b> <ul><li><b>Just the Race (No Shirt) - $25</b></li><li><b>All the Swag (Dri-Fit Race Shirt)- $40</b></li><li><b>Options will be completed during the registration process</b></li><li><b>Runners who register for the virtual race can expect their packets shipped by 12/09/25.</b></li></ul> </li></ul> <h5><b><u>Mail-In Registration</u></b></h5> <ul><li>No mail-in registrations - Online registrations only for 2025.</li></ul> <h5><u><b>In-Person Registration</b></u></h5> <ul><li>In-Person Registrations will be accepted up until Nov. 22 at 8:15 a.m.</li></ul> <h5><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Virtual Event</strong></span></h5> <ul><li><strong>You can run your race with everyone else at WMU or anywhere (your neighborhood, local park, trail, or even a treadmill).  Once you have completed the virtual race, post your times at this link.  </strong></li><li><strong>Two options for registration - </strong> <ul><li>Just the Race (No Shirt) - $25</li><li>All the Swag (Dri-Fit Race Shirt) - $40 an additional charge will be added.</li><li><i>Options will be completed during the registration process</i></li></ul> </li><li><strong>Runners can have their items shipped to them (participants will pay the shipping fee) or pick up your race add-ons at our Packet Pick-Up.  </strong></li><li><strong>The virtual race begins Saturday, Nov. 22, at 8:30 a.m.</strong></li></ul> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Awards</strong></span></p> <ul><li><span style="text-decoration:underline"></span>Overall Top Male Run Division</li><li>Overall Top Female Run Division</li><li>Overall Top Male Walk Division</li><li>Overall Top Female Walk Division</li><li>Costume Contest <ul><li style="font-weight:bold"><strong>Only participants in the in-person race are eligible for Awards.</strong></li></ul> </li></ul>
