<p>     On January 24th, 2026, the Richland County CEO Program will host <strong>The Winter Runderland Event</strong>, which will involve a 5k, 10k, and a mile fun run. These races will be open to runners and walkers of all ages. <br /><br />Following the start of the race, a winter-themed festival with vendors, food trucks, games, and activities will be located inside the RCES gym. T-shirts will be given to all registered participants. <br /><br />Additionally, awards will be given to all top finishers of age group divisions. <br /><br />Sign-ups and timing will be through <strong>To The Finish Timing LLC </strong>out of Evansville, Indiana. </p> <p>Join us for Winter RUNderland – a magical celebration of fitness, family, and festive fun for all ages!<br /><strong>Date: </strong>Saturday, January 24, 2026<br /><br /><strong>Time:</strong> 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM<br /><br /><strong>Location:</strong> <br />Richland County Elementary School<br />1001 N Holly Rd, Olney, IL 62450<br /><br />Lace up and choose your winter adventure on our beautiful snow-dusted courses:<br />• 10am - 5K Run/Walk – $30<br />• 10am - 10K Run – $50<br />• 11:45am - 1-Mile Fun Run (perfect for kids and families!) – $15<br /><br /></p> <p><strong>Schedule of Events:</strong><br />January 23rd - 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm: Early packet pickup at Richland County Elementary School.<br />January 24th - 10:00 am: Start of 5k/10k Race. Additionally beginning of the Festival<br />January 24th - 11:00 am: 5k Runners&#39; Top Finishers Awards.<br />January 24th - 11:30 am: 10k Runners Top Finishers Awards.<br />January 24th - 11:45 am: Start of Mile Fun Run.<br />January 24th - 2:00 pm: End of Festival </p> <p><br /><br />After you cross the finish line, step into the heart of Winter RUNderland! <br />Enjoy upbeat music, tasty food trucks, vendors, and a whimsical Kids’ Corner packed with games, activities, and prizes.<br /><br />Festival-only admission: Just $5 per person<br />(Race participants receive FREE entry to the festival!)<br /><br /></p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>T-shirts will be given to all runners who sign up before January 10, 2024.</strong></span></p> <p>Parking at Richland County Elementary School</p> <p>Winter Festival begins at the start of the 5k/10k until 2:00 pm</p> <p>Timing/Bibs will only be provided to 5k/10k Runners. Walkers and Mile Fun Run will not be professionally timed or awarded. <br /><br />Whether you’re racing through the winter wonderland, shopping with vendors, or <br />simply soaking up the joyful vibes, there’s something for everyone.<br /><br /><strong>Vendor Opportunities:</strong> Very limited spaces available.
