<p>Join in the Thanksgiving holiday fun with your friends at the Waynesboro Family YMCA on Thanksgiving morning. For more than 60 years, Waynesboro Family YMCA has continuously evolved to meet the changing needs of our community. Because we’re way more than a gym.<br /><br /><b>START TIMES:</b><br />8:15am- Gobbler 1 Mile (Kids event ages 3-10)<br /><br />9:00am - 5k Run &amp; Walk  START<br /><br />VIRTUAL 5k - RACE ANYWHERE / ANYTIME -  NOVEMBER 28th THRU December 1st<br /><br /><strong>ENTRY FEE: </strong> (<span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Registration closes for all events Wednesday, November 26th at 7:00pm</strong></span>) - NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION OR PACKET PICKUP<br /><br /></p> <p><strong>Gobbler 1 Mile (3-10 years old): </strong> <br />$15 /  Add a shirt for an additional $10.00 || NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION OR PACKET PICKUP</p> <p><strong>5k Run &amp; Walk</strong><br />$30 (thru Nov. 6th) || $35 (Nov. 7 - Nov. 17) ||  $40 (Nov. 18 - Nov. 26th 7:00pm) || NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION OR PACKET PICKUP</p> <p><strong>5K Run &amp; Walk (Youth 5-12 years old)</strong><br />$15 /  Add a shirt for an additional $10.00 || NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION OR PACKET PICKUP</p> <p><strong>VIRTUAL 5K Run &amp; Walk</strong><br />$30 (thru Nov. 16th) || $35 (Nov. 18 - Nov. 26) ||  NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION OR PACKET PICKUP<br /><br />Registration fees are non-transferable &amp; non-refundable. <br />An entry can only be used for the person registered for the entry. <br />Entries cannot be deferred to the following year or a future event. <br />If the event is cancelled due to weather participants will be moved to the virtual event.<br /><br /><u><i><b>IMMEDIATE FAMILY PRICING:</b></i></u><br />Save $2.00 per entry when registering a family of 4 or more immediate family members. Please select this option when registering. Available for all events thru Wednesday, November 26th. This discount can not be applied retroactively. Discounts will not be applied to those already registered.<br /><br /><b>PAPER REGISTRATION: </b><br />Not available<br /><br /><b>T-SHIRTS: </b><br />Participants registered on or before Wednesday November 5th, are guaranteed a race shirt. A limited number of extra shirts will be available on a first-come basis at packet pickup.<br />Please note that shirts for the Youth 5K and Gobbler 1 Mile are available for an additional fee of $10.00<br /><br /><strong>PACKET PICKUP:</strong> <br />(Waynesboro Family YMCA) NO RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP<br />Tuesday November 25th, 3-7pm<br />Wednesday November 26th, 3-7pm <br />RACE DAY, November 27th, NO PACKET PICKUP / NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION<br /><br /><b>CAN I HAVE MY PACKET MAILED TO ME?</b><br />We are happy to mail packets to our<span style="text-decoration:underline"> Virtual 5k participants only</span>. There is an additional fee of $15.00. This mailing option can be selected during registration and is available to those virtual 5k participants registered by Sunday, November 16th.<br /><br /><b>STROLLERS, DOGS &amp; PETS:</b><br />We respectfully ask that for the safety of the event that pets and strollers line up in the back of the start.<br /><br /><strong>HYDRATION:</strong><br />Refreshments are available at the finish of each event. There is not a water stop on course.<br /><br /><b>TIMING &amp; RESULTS:</b><br />All events will be timed for place. The 5k run and walk will use MyLaps disposable bib tag timing. This tag can be found on the back of your bib number.  <br /><br /><b>AWARDS:</b><br />Gobble Wobble 1 Mile finishers receive a FINISHER MEDAL. </p> <p>5K Awards will be given to Top 3 Overall Male and Female, Top Master Male and Female, and top 5 in each age group (Medal to first place and ribbons 2nd -5th)</p> <p>Please note:  An awards table will be available following the event for winners to pick up their age group award. We will recognize our overall award winners during a brief closing ceremony. Awards will not be mailed.</p> <p>Gobble Wobble 1 Mile will award a stuffed turkey (yep, it&#39;s a stuffed animal NOT suitable for roasting) to our top Overall Boy and Girl.</p> <p>There are no awards given for our virtual event.<br /><br /><b>VIRTUAL 5k RESULTS:</b><br />1.  COMPLETE YOUR EVENT, anywhere in the world, Thursday November 28th thru Sunday December 1st<br />2.  UPLOAD YOUR RESULTS.<br />3.  RECEIVE A FINISHER MEDAL!</p> <p>Participants will have the ability to upload their result and/or participation, directly to our RunSignUp Results page or by text message.</p> <p>Those participating in the Virtual 5K can race from anywhere at any time between Thursday November 28th and Sunday December 1st. Results are reported by the virtual participant to our Leader Board using RunSignUp. We are happy to mail your packet to you for an additional fee of $15.00. This mailing option can be selected during registration and is available to those registered by Friday, November 15th.</p> <p>RACE NUMBERS SHOULD BE WORN ON THE FRONT OF YOUR SHIRT OR JACKET AND VISIBLE THROUGHOUT THE EVENT.</p>
