Walk for Paws

Contra Costa Humane Society is excited to bring our annual fundraiser, Walk for Paws, to the Town of Danville!

Join us for a dog-friendly walk on the Iron Horse Trail through beautiful downtown Danville to raise funds and awareness for the lifesaving work we strive to do for homeless animals within Contra Costa County. This family and pet-friendly event not only supports animals in need but also highlights Danville as a vibrant, dog-loving destination. Start your morning at 8:30am by checking in at the parking lot of Molly’s Pup-Puree, where you can visit some of our amazing sponsors and local partners. The walk begins at 9:00am and can be enjoyed at your own pace. Whether you choose a quick stroll through downtown, loop around Hartz Avenue, or explore the nearby Iron Horse Trail, you and your pup will love the experience. 

After the walk, head over to Hartz Street and enjoy our Treat Trail through participating local business partners. Stop in for shopping, treats, and more! Event maps will be available at check-in.

Registration is good for four people:

$50 early registration fee on or before August 31st
$75 registration fee on or before September 30th

$100 late registration fee after September 30th

Registration includes a CCHS pull string swag bag* filled with goodies for each registrant (total of four per registration) from local sponsors and participating business partners.
