Do you have an item of clothing that could use some visible mending? Learn to securely patch on top of holes or stains to bring new life to your garments! Please bring an item of clothing or two that you'd like to patch onto. Fabrics, thread, scissors, and needles will be provided, but if you have favorite fabrics, threads, thimbles, or needles in your collection, you are welcome to bring them to class. Beginners are welcome, but a basic knowledge of sewing a running stitch and whip stitch will be helpful. Sara Ottomano has more than 10 years of experience teaching art classes.
