Virtual Run/Walk for Sandy Hook Promise

Participate in running or walking 1, 3, or 5 miles before August 31, 2025 to support the charity Sandy Hook Promise. 100% of proceeds go directly to SHP through the 2025 Chicago Marathon fundraiser. Sandy Hook Promise is a nonprofit organization founded and led by several family members whose loved ones were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012. The Sandy Hook Promise mission is to educate & empower youth and adults to prevent violence in schools, homes, and communities. Sandy Hook Promise works to pass legislation that advances school safety, mental health, and prevents gun violence. Additionally, they provide life-saving programs at no-cost to schools to create safer, inclusive schools & communities.
