<h4><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Race &amp; Event Information</strong></span>: </h4> <h2>Join us for the return of the Up Up &amp; Away 5K on August 22nd!</h2> <h2>This beloved 5K has been one of Northeast Oklahoma’s most popular runs since its debut in 2019. After the Muskogee Hot Air Balloon Festival was canceled in 2025, Muskogee Parks &amp; Recreation is bringing it back bigger and better in 2026 — and the Up Up &amp; Away 5K is the perfect way to experience it!</h2> <h2>Presented by Saint Francis Hospital, and hosted in partnership with the Muskogee Running Club and I:40 Race Service, this event combines a fantastic run with the magic of a hot air balloon festival.</h2> <h2>The festival (and to a lesser extent the run) is weather-dependent, especially wind conditions. But on a clear, calm morning, you’ll run through the stunning sight of colorful hot air balloons launching and floating all around Hatbox Events Park.</h2> <h2>Don’t miss this unique experience! Register today and get ready to rise Up, Up &amp; Away!</h2> <h2><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Race Details:</strong></span><br />-          Shirts are guaranteed for everyone that signs up by August 9th<br />-          Medals for the top 3 in each 5k age group, trophies for top 3 overall 5k Male and Female <br />-          Refreshments severed during and after the run<br />-          USATF CERTIFIED COURSE  - <a href="https://www.certifiedroadraces.com/certificate/?type=l&amp;id=OK19002DG" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">CLICK HERE FOR MAP</a> - Hatbox 5k Loop (OK19002DG) </h2> <h2><span style="text-decoration:underline">Packet Pickup/Registration</span>: <br />-          There will be a Packet Pickup/Registration on Friday August 21st from 3:00 to 6:00 at the Muskogee Parks &amp; Recreation office at Spaulding Park on the corner of Okmulgee and Eastside Blvd.  If you can&#39;t get your packet then, you can get your packet the morning of the event at the start/finish tent at Hatbox.  </h2> <h2><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Registration Prices</strong></span>: <br />-          5k early bird is only $25, which goes through July 4th.  $30 after July 4th and $35 the day of the event<br />-          Fun Run early bird is only $20.  $25 after that and the day of the event</h2>
