<h2><strong>Join us for the second annual Unity in Motion 5k Race!</strong></h2> <p>Get ready to lace up your running shoes and join us for the Unity in Motion 5K – a vibrant, community-focused race that celebrates Minnesota&#39;s resilient and diverse communities through the spirit of healthy living! Whether you&#39;re a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, or a family looking for a fun outing, this race welcomes all members of the community. </p> <h5><strong>Date:</strong> May 9th, 2026 <br /><strong>Location: </strong>West<strong> </strong>Palmer Lake Park, Brooklyn Center<br /><strong>Times:</strong><br />TBD - TICKET TIMES MAY ADJUST</h5> <h2> </h2> <h2><strong>Event Highlights:</strong></h2> <p><strong>5K &#43; 10k Races</strong>: Challenge yourself with a 5K or 10k run, or walk, through the beautifully maintained trails of Palmer Lake Park.</p> <p><strong>CAPI-bara Crawl:</strong> Sign your young children up for the CAPI -bara Crawl! This short race across a field and back is for kids age 10 and younger. All kids leave with an award, themed around a CAPI capybara, for joining the race. </p> <p><strong>Unity Village</strong>: After the race, explore our Unity Village featuring a children&#39;s race &#43; activities, live music, and food – a perfect place to relax and enjoy a post-race cool down. </p> <p><strong>Medals &amp; Prizes</strong>: Medals for the top 3 5k &#43; 10k finishers for men, women, and children under 16. ALl youth in CAPI-bara crawl receive a participation medal. </p> <p><strong>Fundraising Focus</strong>: Proceeds from the event will support <a href="http://capiusa.org" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">CAPI&#39;s work</a> providing support to Minnesota&#39;s immigrant and refugee population, making every step you take contribute to a greater cause.<strong> We encourage all runners to sign up for their own fundraising page - encouraging family and friends to support your race to make a difference!</strong></p> <h5><strong>Why Participate?</strong></h5> <p>Join us for more than just a race.
