About UltraTrax Massanutten

Get ready for a course that showcases the very best of Massanutten’s rugged terrain. The adventure begins on the Western Slope, winding through a mix of flowing single-track, wide double-track, and fast mountain biking trails, before opening onto the classic fire roads that climb deep into the backcountry.

From there, the challenge builds as the course crests the mountain and takes you onto the iconic Peak Ridge Trail—a ridgeline route with sweeping views and rocky footing that will test your grit and reward your determination.

The final descent brings you flying down the mountain to the base of Massanutten Ski Resort, where an incredible post-race afterparty awaits. Cold drinks, great food, and a vibrant community of fellow trailblazers will make crossing the finish line even sweeter.

Choose your distance: 7, 14, 21, or 28 miles, and complete in 10 hours to earn the coveted UltraTrax Grey Wolf Medal. Toss on a 10, 20, or 35-lb weighted vest or ruck and unlock bonus finisher swag + serious bragging rights. The course will be extremely well marked with a fun post-trek party for everyone to enjoy!
