<h3>Tundra Cross</h3> <p>UM Golf Course</p> <p>515 South Ave E,</p> <p>Missoula, MT 59801</p> <p> </p> <p>SCHEDULE:</p> <ul><li>11/5/25 - Coco Cross</li><li>11/12/25 - Chili Cross</li><li>11/19/25 - Cider Cross</li><li>12/3/25 - Syrup Cross - Season Party</li></ul> <p>CATEGORIES</p> <ul><li>Women A/B</li><li>Men A</li><li>Men B</li><li>Coed Party</li><li>Men Master 40&#43;</li><li>Men Master 50&#43;</li><li>Coed Master 60&#43;</li><li>Women Masters 40&#43;</li><li>Coed Fixed Gear</li><li>Juniors Girl 14 and under</li><li>Juniors Boy 14 and under<br /> </li></ul> <p>WEEKLY SCHEDULE</p> <ul><li>4:00pm check in and warmup</li><li>4:30pm mass start </li><li>5:30 podiums and drinks</li></ul> <p> </p> <p>4 race series all from the UM Golf Course.  Mass start at 4:30pm.  The courses will be 2-4 miles per lap.  They will be run in more of Kermesse style.  These are events mostly found in Belgium.  It&#39;s longer lap cross style racing, that mixes in a little bit of gravel racing.  Similar to the local lap found on the Gravel Worlds Course in Belgium this year.  The goal is foster some group riding, fitness riding, and get sharp for ski season or later cyclocross goals.  Also, building base can be done at these events.  My goal is for everyone to get about a 45 minutes of riding in each event.  Courses will be marked by soccer cones.  </p> <p>All races will be held at the UM Golf Course from the Maurice side parking lot.  </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>WHAT IS A KERMESSE?</p> <p>&#34;A kermesse cross is a cycling race that takes place on roads in and around a town, and often includes a rolling enclosure. The course is usually made up of city streets or farmland, and the streets are open to traffic when the race isn&#39;t passing through. A car with a red flag and caution sign leads the riders, and a car with a green flag and signs opens the streets back up to traffic.&#34;</p> <p> </p> <p>TEAM COMPETITION</p> <p>The teams competition this year is based on a selection of the following teams you chose at registration.</p> <ul><li>Hellgate</li><li>Missoula Bicycle Works</li><li>Big Sky Bikes</li><li>MTCX</li><li>Frontier</li><li>Osprey</li><li>Gravel Heaven</li><li>Mammoths</li><li>Ice Badgers</li></ul> <p>Each category gets points 5 deep. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.  These points go to your teams tally.  Season ending winners receive the custom hoodies as best team in Missoula for 2025.  Must have attended 3 out of 4 to receive the hoodie.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
