<h3><strong>Run, walk, ride, swim, row...mummy shuffle! Join us either in person or virtually for our 15th Annual Spooky Duke 5K, 10K, and costume march! </strong></h3> <h5><strong>Mission:</strong></h5> <p>Parent to Parent Family Support Network High Country (FSN-HC) provides support, education and caring connections to families who: have children with diverse physical, emotional, intellectual or health needs; have a child born prematurely; or are grieving the death of a child. We serve Alleghany, Ashe, Mitchell, Watauga, Wilkes, and Yancey Counties in the NC &#34;High Country&#34;</p> <h3>Our Vision is to touch every family in our community who needs our support.</h3> <h2> Funds raised will help Parent to Parent FSN-HC provide:</h2> <ul><li>One-on-one connections among families who know the joys and challenges of raising a child with special needs.        </li><li>Support groups where families come together to share ideas and information, laugh, cry, and support each other.    </li><li>Workshops where families gain new skills to help them help their children.</li></ul> <h3>Please help us reach more families!  </h3> <p> </p> <h2>Event Details:</h2> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Race Date</strong></span>: <span style="color:#333333">November 8, 2025</span></p> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline">Course Description</span></strong>: The in-person race will take place on the campus of Appalachian State University. For the virtual race, participants can complete their distance on the course of their choosing.<i> </i></p> <h3><strong>Register by October 24, 2025 to be guaranteed a T-shirt!</strong></h3> <h4> </h4> <h4>2025 T-Shirt Pickup and Mailing</h4> <p>We will send out an email with dates, times, and locations for t-shirt pickup.</p> <p>For virtual participants, if you chose to have your shirt mailed, there will be a $6.00 fee added to your registration. </p> <h4>Race Results</h4> <p>For the 2025 virtual race, you can <a href="https://help.runsignup.com/support/solutions/articles/17000087349-submit-and-manage-virtual-results" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">submit your time through Run SignUp</a>.</p>
