<h2 style="text-align:center"><span style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 128 );font-size:36pt"><strong>The Schuylkill River 50k Relay &amp; Ultra</strong></span></h2> <h5><span style="color:#000080"><strong> </strong></span></h5> <h3><span style="text-decoration:underline"><span style="color:#000080"><strong>The Race</strong></span></span><br /><span style="color:#000080">The Schuylkill River Relay is a 50 kilometer (31 mile) race that starts and ends at Saint Michael&#39;s Park ​which adjoins Lock 60 in Mont Clare, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Adjacent to Phoenixville. </span><br /><br /><span style="color:#000080">Runners will follow the Schuylkill River Trail through scenic Montgomery County and the Valley Forge National Park all the way to Conshohocken.<br /><br />The race finishes in a private park along Lock 60 Canal right outside Phoenixville with live music, food trucks, and after filled with family friendly yards games. <br /><br /></span></h3> <h3><span style="color:#000080">To minimize trail impact and maximize runner safety the race begins in stages, with Ultras beginning first follow by teams determined by your self predicted end time. </span><span style="color:#000080"></span></h3> <h3><br /><span style="text-decoration:underline"><span style="color:#000080"><strong>Race Options - Team or Solo</strong></span></span><br /><span style="color:#000080">Runners have the option of racing solo, or part of a team of 3 to 6 runners. </span><br /><span style="color:#000080">Teams are required to supply their own transportation to each transition point. </span><br /><span style="color:#000080">Race Chip Timing is provided for 7 hours- 8am till 3pm.<br /><br /></span></h3> <h3><span style="text-decoration:underline"><span style="color:#000080"><strong>Packet Pickup</strong></span></span><br /><span style="color:#000080"></span></h3> <h4><span style="color:#000080">Early pickup will be available- Friday Night</span></h4> <h4><span style="color:#000080">Packet Pick Up will be</span><span style="color:#000080"> on Race Day Starting at 7am at St Mikes under the pavilions at the finish line area. </span><br /><span style="color:#000080">Team captains will  pick up for their entire team.</span><span style="color:#000080"></span></h4> <h3><span style="text-decoration:underline"><span style="color:#000080"><strong>Logistics</strong></span></span><br /><span style="color:#000080">Runners will start in staggered stages beginning at Saint Michael&#39;s Park.</span><br /><span style="color:#000080">Teams will be assigned a start time based on their expected completion duration. </span><br /><span style="color:#000080">Tri chip bracelet timed, with transition point timing splits. </span><br /><span style="color:#000080">Aid stations will be available at each transition point.<br />Waves will be spread out to have minimal impact on trail. </span><span style="color:#000080"></span></h3> <h3><u><b><span style="color:#000080">Swag</span></b></u></h3> <h4><span style="color:#000080">Custom swag race socks! <br />Relay Teams Medal<br />Ultra Runners 50k Buckle Medal<br />Swag Upgrades- Charity Donations<br />Overall race Baton Medals for the:<br /></span><span style="color:#000080">- Fastest teams of 3 - all male, all female and coed 1/2/3<br />- Fastest teams of 6 - all male, all female and coed 1/2/3<br /><br /><u><b>On Course Support:</b></u><br />50k course - out and back<br />Drop Bag service provided for Ultras<br />3 Relay Points with support - 2 are a used twice<br />-Portapots, food, parking, water, timing check point and staffed - BYO cheering squad! <br /><br /></span><span style="color:#000080"></span></h4> <h3><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong><span style="color:#000080;text-decoration:underline">REMEMBER</span></strong></span><br /><span style="color:#000080">- Teams must have a reliable and safe vehicle between transition points.</span><br /><span style="color:#000080">- Have fun and be safe.
