<p>The Missing Slice – Love, Hope &amp; Pizza 5K<br />Hosted by the Lenawee Endurance Club in partnership with Hungry Howie’s<br />&#x1f4c5; Saturday, October 25, 2025 | &#x1f557; 8:00 AM Start | &#x1f4cd; Adrian High School</p> <p>The Lenawee Endurance Club is proud to bring back The Missing Slice – Love, Hope &amp; Pizza 5K for its second year! This annual event raises funds and awareness for breast cancer research, support, and early detection through the National Breast Cancer Foundation.</p> <p>Why “The Missing Slice”?<br />The name is a nod to our mission: to help close the gap in resources needed to end breast cancer—and a shout-out to our title sponsor, Hungry Howie’s, who will be serving up free post-race pizza for all participants!</p> <p>This event is personal to so many of us—whether you or a loved one has faced breast cancer, we invite you to run, walk, or cheer in support of this meaningful cause. Our community fundraising goal this year is $2,500, and 100% of donations will go directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.</p> <p> <br />&#x1f3c3;‍♀️ 5K Run/Walk Details:<br />Timed race with overall awards presented post-race<br />Open roads: Volunteers and signage will guide the route<br />Strollers and walkers are welcome!<br /> <br />&#x1f389; Fun Run (Ages 12 &amp; Under):<br />Starts at 7:45 AM (15 minutes before the 5K)<br />A half-mile loop starting and finishing at the official start line<br />Participants receive a finisher medal and T-shirt (register by October 10 to guarantee a shirt)<br />Parents may run alongside younger kids<br /> <br />&#x1f355; Post-Race:<br />Stick around after your run/walk for complimentary pizza provided by Hungry Howie’s, plus community vibes and high-fives all around!</p> <p> <br />&#x1f697; Parking:<br />A parking map will be available below.
