<p>Here is the race you have been waiting for!  The Dwight Bershaw Memorial .5K (that&#39;s right, a .5K) fun run is the race that <u>anyone</u> can run!  At just .5 kilometers you don&#39;t even have to train!  </p> <p>Does 1/2 kilometer seem like a lot?  No way......so let&#39;s break it down.   1/2 of a kilometer = 546.8 yards = .31 miles = 1,640 feet = 19,685 inches!  That&#39;s it!  </p> <p>The race is on Saturday, September 6th &#64; 10:00am, and everyone should be done by 10:15am!.  Worried about bonking?  Well don&#39;t worry because there will be a donut and water station at the halfway point.  Every participant will receive a &#34;University of Coeur d&#39;Alene&#34; t-shirt, AND, each finisher will receive a pretentious European oval sticker for your car window so you can tell everyone you finished a .5K!  </p> <p>Do you need to train?  Nope.   Do you need to think about it?  Nope.   Do you need to worry about your nagging hamstring injury?  Nope!</p> <p>Just show up, have fun and help support the Sunrise Rotary Club of Coeur d&#39;Alene and we will use the proceeds to help others in our community and beyond!</p>
