More than just a run, this event is a celebration of grit, growth, and community. Whether you’re a first-time 5K runner or a seasoned racer, you’ll be tested and inspired on a scenic, hilly course that winds through the park’s picturesque trails.</p> <p><br /><strong>Part of the 2025 We Run Gwinnett! Race Series</strong></p> <p>This race is one stop on the exciting We Run Gwinnett! Race Series, bringing together runners from across Gwinnett County. The series features diverse courses, incredible community energy, and friendly competition.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>How It Works:</strong></p> <p>Run multiple races throughout the year—each with its own challenge and character.<br />Earn points for race finishes, placements, and participation.<br />Compete for series awards, including recognition for top performers and consistent participants.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Who Can Join?</strong></p> <p>Everyone! If you must leave early, please collect your award from the awards table before departing.)</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Registration &amp; Pricing</strong></p> <p>Early Bird – Now through August 24, 2025: $35 (includes guaranteed shirt &amp; medal)<br />Standard – August 25 to Race Day: $25 (shirt not guaranteed)<br />Race Day Registration: $25 – No guaranteed shirt. Remaining shirts will be distributed after the race if available.</p> <p><strong>Time Cut-Off</strong></p> <p>Official results close at 9:00 AM (90 minutes after the 7:30 AM start).</p> <p><strong>Swag</strong></p> <p>Finisher’s Medal for all runners.<br />Shirt Guarantee: Must register by August 24.<br />No Shirt Option: Choose a reduced registration fee—no early or post-race shirt pickup allowed. If extras remain, you may purchase one after the race.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Vendors</strong></p> <p>We’d love for local businesses and organizations to join us at The Challenge Race on Sunday, September 7th at Alexander Park! This is a great opportunity to showcase your products or services to our running community and their families. Vendors will have space to set up tables/tents along the start/finish area to connect with participants before and after the race.</p> <p>Interested? From handing out water and cheering runners on to helping with setup/cleanup, your support makes race day possible.</p> <p>&#x1f4a1; Volunteer Perk: Every volunteer will receive a free race entry to a future WRG Race (Championship excluded unless you’ve completed at least 2 races in the series).
