<p>&#x1f384; The 2nd Annual Active Texan Tinsel Trot<br />Saturday, December 20th, 2025 | Lake Walk | 5 PM</p> <p>Get ready to lace up, light up, and trot into the holidays with us at the Active Texan Tinsel Trot—a festive evening 5K, 10K, and 1-mile family fun run at beautiful Lake Walk in Bryan-College Station!</p> <p>Bring your friends, your family, your running club, or your coworkers—this is more than just a race; it’s a community celebration to close out the year Active Texan-style.</p> <p>As the sun sets, the Lake Walk Pavilion will transform into a glowing holiday party complete with:<br />&#x1f3b6; Live music &amp; holiday tunes<br />&#x1f354; Food trucks &amp; hot chocolate<br />&#x1f3af; Festive games &amp; selfie stations<br />✨ Post-race celebration on the Green</p> <p>&#x1f381; Race Details<br />Date: Saturday, December 20, 2025<br />Time: 5:00 PM start<br />Location: Lake Walk Pavilion, Bryan, TX<br />Events: 10K • 5K • 1-Mile Kids/Family Fun Run<br />Timing: Professionally chip-timed races</p> <p><br />All participants will receive a finisher medal, and 5K/10K runners will also receive an official race t-shirt and sponsor swag.<br />&#x1f3c6; Awards for Top 3 Overall Male &amp; Female Finishers in both 5K and 10K divisions.</p> <p> <br />&#x1f31f; A Few Tips<br />Headlamps are recommended for 10K runners, as portions of the course will be after dark.<br />The route is well-lit by streetlights, and we’ll keep things merry and bright with glow sticks and bracelets for all participants.<br />Costumes and holiday spirit are highly encouraged!<br /> <br />More details on packet pickup, course maps, and parking will be shared soon.<br />Let’s make this year’s Tinsel Trot even brighter than the last—see you at Lake Walk!</p>
