Join us on October 10, 2026 for the Inaugural "Texas Roots 5k & 10k" Run.— Bring the walkers in your family or crew. Let them….
WALK. RUN. JOG. CRAWL. REST. REPEAT. SUPPORT EDUCATION.
“TexasRoots” takes place during the October 10th weekend, a time when many communities recognize Columbus Day or Indigenous Peoples’ Day on the second Monday of October each year..
“TexasRoots” is an additional opportunity… 1. To honor our RGV culture (where we come from);
2. To embrace our Texas identity (who we are today); and
3. To run, walk, and gather as one community (to put into motion the shared traditions and values that shape our lives in South Texas).
Across the finish line?
You will earn your very own collectible finisher medal celebrating our "Texas Roots".
