Swim for 45 minutes each hour at the top of the hour. Your distance and your pace are up to you; you might arrive with a distance goal or an endurance focus - it is YOUR swim! This event is held in a beautiful outdoor pool in Islamorada which will be set up long course meters. We have space for 10 individuals to swim in split lanes (no circle swimming).
Please make sure you are physically and mentally prepared for this challenge by training in advance!
Money raised from entries goes to the restoration of our island's pride and joy, the Alligator Lighthouse. Extra Fundraising is encouraged, as is taking a moment to look out the ocean-side of Islamorada to see the beautiful Alligator Lighthouse. Swimmers will be able to send out their individual fundraising pages as they wish (at registration you will be asked whether you'd like to set up a fundraiser on this site which you can share with your fanbase)! RELAY TEAMS must alternate swimmers each hour.

SPACE IS LIMITED. To Start we have 4 spots for teams and 10 Individual spaces. We will open more spaces for relays if we have space. If your desired option is designated as FULL, and you wish to join a waitlist for a space, please email the "contact" button below. Registration fees for teams are split between swimmers not per swimmer!
The weather here in December is generally delightful BUT if, for safety reasons, we need to delay, pause, or shorten this event, we can not offer refunds.
Included in your entry: snacks and drinks during the swim (we cannot guarantee certain brands, so if you have strict preferences, make sure to bring those), finisher awards, swim cap, music in the background, positive energy, and the chance to be part of the Save Alligator Lighthouse Team!
