<p><b>WELCOME!</b></p> <p>This virtual race is a fun way to add some motivatation to your pool swims or gather your swim friends and try some open water. Register for Swim Hilton Head! Use this 33 mile virtual swim to motivate &amp; inspire yourself &amp; others! This race starts on Memorial Day 2025 and ends on Labor Day 2025. Our top 3 finishers will receive awards. All registrants will receive Swim HHI Royal Blue Long Sleeve T-shirt, Swim HHI Joggers, Swim HHI Swim Cap &amp; Race bag while supplies last!  <br />Register today! Get all the swag! </p> <p><b>HILTON HEAD ISLAND</b></p> <p>Swim Hilton Head Island is unique because it is one of the few races in the world where the participants can virtually swim entirely around an island. Hilton Head Island is a foot-shaped barrier island located off the Atlantic Coast of South Carolina, approximately 45 miles north of Savannah, Georgia USA and 90 miles south of Charleston, South Carolina, USA.  Our 12- mile long and 5-mile wide island was the first Eco-planned destination in the United States. We will be sharing pictures of the beautiful scenery along with our favorite waterside bars!</p> <p><b>RULES:</b></p> <p>1. Make sure your swims are safe. Always swim with a buddy &amp; a lifeguard. Open water swimmers always swim with a buddy in water that is designated open for swimming by local authorities. </p> <p>2. Swimmers are on their honor to submit distance. There will NOT be a wet-suit/ non wet suit category! You are able to use fins, paddles or snorkels. Open water swims and pool swims are allowed! Last year we even had swim spa users that calcuated distance by using their average 100 yard pace and time spent swimming. </p> <p>3. Distance can be submitted without Garmin, Apple, Fitbit tracking</p> <p><b>      DETAILS:</b></p> <p><b>      RACE START/FINISH:</b> May 26 - September 1, 2025</p> <p><b>      RACE LOCATION: </b>Virtual Start &amp; Finish at Coligny Beach, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, USA</p> <p><b>      DISTANCE</b>: Total distance around Hilton Head Island: 33 miles or 53.1 km or 58080 yards or 53108 meters. You&#39;ll have from Memorial Day to Labor Day to              Finish!
