The St. Patty&#39;s 5K and Fitness Mile are dedicated to honoring Amy Tungate, the beloved co-founder of Uniontown CrossFit, mother, athlete, and local third-grade teacher, who passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2021. Proceeds will benefit Amy&#39;s Army for PanCAN: Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, continuing Amy’s legacy of health, wellness, and community spirit.</p> <p> <br />Race Highlights<br />Fast &amp; Flat 5K Course: Perfect for runners, walkers, and ruckers through Uniontown and South Union Township.<br />Unique Fitness Mile: Test your endurance with four 1/4-mile legs paired with exercises (Burpees, Air-squats, Overhead press, Sit ups, Lunges and Pushups) — a great way to continue your New Year’s resolutions!<br />Dual Event Challenge: Compete in both the 5K and Fitness Mile to earn the title of FITTEST Male and Female in Fayette County.<br /> <br />Race Day Schedule<br />7:30-8:45 AM: Packet Pickup &amp; Registration at Uniontown Track9:00 AM: Start of 5K Run/Walk/Ruck<br />9:10 AM: Start of Fitness Mile<br /> <br />Awards &amp; Incentives-Unique awards<br />5K: Top 3 Overall Male/Female and Age Group Awards for runners:  13-under, 14-19, 20-29,30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69,70 up</p> <p>Top 10 Male and Top 10 Female Walkers.<br />Fitness Mile: Awards for the Top 3 Male and Female competitors.<br />Ruck Division: Awards for the Top 3 Male and Female competitors. (Rucksack/backpack/weighted vest must be 45 lbs for men and 35 lbs for women, verified before and after the race.)<br />Dual Event Challenge: Special awards for FITTEST Male and Female competitors in Fayette County!<br />Fundraiser Incentive: Raise $250 or more for PanCAN through our website and receive FREE registration.<br /> <br />Race Perks<br />T-Shirts: Guaranteed for participants registered by Wednesday, March 5.
