SKWC Boardwalk 5k Super Bowl Sunday Race Information

<p>Please help support Rutgers Wrestling with our 5k fundraiser on Super Bowl Sunday. These funds will go directly back to our club the SKWC to help with supplemental funds for Rutgers Wrestling.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Date:</strong> 2/8 Super Bowl Sunday</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Beachcomber, 100 Ocean Terrace, Seaside Heights, NJ 08751 </p> <p><strong>Check-In:</strong> 8:00am-9:30am</p> <p><strong>Race Start:</strong> 10am (1mile fun run), 10:30 (5k run)</p> <p><strong>Parking:</strong> Free During Winter Months</p> <p><strong>Cost:</strong> $45 Dollars Until (1/31/2026), $50 the week of the race (2/1/2026). Every registration comes with a free shirt. </p> <p><strong>Divisions: </strong></p> <p>1mile Fun Run/Walk, 5k Open Run/Walk (placement based on age)</p> <p>Age Divisions</p> <p><br />The “Open Run/Walk” is for anyone looking to run the 5k race or walk. Placement in this division will be based on age.</p> <ul><li style="line-height:1.2">10 and under</li><li style="line-height:1.2">11 to 13 years old</li><li style="line-height:1.2">14 to 16 years old</li><li style="line-height:1.2">17 to 19 years old</li><li style="line-height:1.2">20 to 30 years old</li><li style="line-height:1.2">31 to 40 years old</li><li style="line-height:1.2">41 to 50 years old</li><li style="line-height:1.2">51 to 60 years old </li><li style="line-height:1.2">61 to 70 years old</li><li style="line-height:1.2">70 and over</li></ul> <p style="line-height:1.2"><br />The “Fun Run/Walk” is for younger ages or those just looking to for a shorter course. Placement in this division will be based on age.</p> <ul><li style="line-height:1.2">6 &amp; under </li><li style="line-height:1.2">7-8 years old</li><li style="line-height:1.2">9-10 years old</li><li style="line-height:1.2">11-12 years old</li></ul> <p><strong>Course: </strong></p> <p style="line-height:1"><em>Start:</em> Beachcomber, 100 Ocean Terrace. Contestants will head north to Sawmill, Stockton Ave. </p> <p style="line-height:1"><br /><em>First Turn:</em> Sawmill, Stockton Avenue contestants will then head south to Hiering Avenue. </p> <p style="line-height:1"><br /><em>Second Turn:</em> Heiring Avenue contestants will then head north back towards the starting line at Sawmill. One lap equals a mile.
