Ocean Blvd and the course follows along the scenic Long Beach shoreline. Park at the 54th &amp; Claremont lot.</p> <p style="text-align:left">Race packet pick up is at the starting line on race day.  Please arrive by 7:30 am to allow sufficient time before the race.</p> <p style="text-align:left"> </p> <p><b>EVENTS</b></p> <ul><li>5K Runner-only (humans only) race starts at 8:30 am</li><li>5K Mutt run (runner/walker plus dog) starts at 8:30 am</li><li>1K Mutt run (runner/walker plus dog) starts at 8:45 am</li></ul> <p><b>DOGGIE DO&#39;S and DON&#39;T&#39;S</b></p> <ul><li>All breeds of dogs welcome, <em>not just mutts</em></li><li>Dogs must be leashed and stay on the pedestrian path at all times</li><li>Dogs must be non-aggressive with people and dogs</li></ul> <p><b>FUN INCLUSIONS AND POST-RACE EVENTS</b></p> <ul><li>Adoption event by the Long Beach Animal Care Services at the finish line and post-race festival</li><li>High quality race t-shirt for 1K and 5K participants</li><li>Finisher medal for all participants</li><li>Awards for top three 5K finishers</li></ul> <p><b>WHY WE RUN</b></p> <ul><li>70% of proceeds will support the Long Beach Animal Care Services</li><li>30% of the proceeds will go toward <a href="https://www.signalhillrotary.org/who-we-are" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">the community project fund at Signal Hill Rotary</a></li></ul>
