<p>WELCOME!<br />Your journey starts here. She Tris Sprint Triathlon, all women&#39;s events, are designed for women of all skill levels, ages and backgrounds to experience triathlons in an encouraging environment.  Join us at all our events in 2026 in the following cities: Mount Pleasant (SC), South Charlotte (NC), Summerville (SC), Huntersville (NC), and Chapel Hill (NC).</p> <p> </p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline">When you sign up for a She Tris event you receive:</span></p> <ul><li>Complimentary training plan</li><li>Informative clinics</li><li>Group support during your training</li><li>She Tris swim cap</li><li>She Tris shirt</li><li>Finish line photos</li><li>Finish line party</li><li>Finishers keepsake</li></ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Women&#39;s Triathlon</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>SWIM:<br />The swim is a 250 yard pool swim in the Carnes Crossroads pool. Participants start at one side of the pool and snake their way up and down each lane as they work towards the other side of the pool. You will be provided with a swim cap if you choose to wear it.</p> <p>BIKE:<br />The bike course is a three loop 8 mile course. The course is flat and takes place within the beautiful Carnes Crossroads neighborhood. The roads are open to traffic – but traffic is usually fairly light.</p> <p>RUN:<br />The 2 mile run course is an out and back, primarily along the Carnes Crossroads neighborhood paths. The course is partially shaded and completely flat.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>GIRL&#39;S DISTANCES</strong></p> <p>4-6 YEAR OLDS:<br />25 yard swim, 1 mile bike, 1 mile run<br />7-9 YEAR OLDS:<br />50 yard swim, 1 mile bike, 1 mile run<br />10-12 YEAR OLDS:<br />100 yard swim, 3 mile bike, 1.5 mile run<br />13-14 YEAR OLDS:<br />100 yard swim, 3 mile bike, 1.5 mile run</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>WOMEN&#39;S DUATHLON</strong><br />RUN 1:<br />1 mile out and back on the standard course.</p> <p> </p> <p>BIKE:<br />The bike course is a three loop 8 mile course. The course is partially shaded and completely flat.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Women&#39;s Aquathlon</strong><br />Swim and run only (no bike portion). The biking element is removed and the distances can be great for daughters to participate with mom, aunt or grandma! </p> <p> </p> <p>Swim 250 yards, Run 2 miles, DONE!</p> <p> </p> <p>Finish line party: Celebrate with your family and friends and take in your accomplishment!</p> <p> </p> <p><br /><strong>VIRTUAL OPTIONS</strong><br />Complete the triathlon, duathlon, or aquathlon distances anywhere anytime in September.  Virtual participants can upload their times, but they will not be included in awards.  All virtual participants may choose to pick up their packets locally or they will be mailed in September.  Times should be submitted by 11:59 pm on September 30th.</p> <p> </p> <p>The mission of She Tris is to create a welcoming and supportive triathlon environment for women and girls who want to complete a triathlon, regardless of their level of experience.
