Every step, every stride, every smile gets painted in purples, oranges, turquoise, and every shade in between. By the end, you’re not just a runner—you’re a masterpiece of living color!</p> <p><span style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )"><strong>Purpose of event:</strong></span></p> <p>Shepherds for Sheepdogs is a 501(c)3 located in Lenoir, NC whose purpose is to purchase professionally trained service dogs for disabled veterans and first responders! 100% of the proceeds goes to the dog and hero pair! This will be our 4th annual race but this year is our very first color run! Join us and the City of Lenoir Parks and Rec as we continue to &#39;serve those who served&#39;.</p> <p><span style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )"><strong>Course description:</strong></span></p> <p>Get ready to walk, run, or race all while getting blasted with color in this vibrant event. This fresh splash of family and dog fun will  will take place on the City of Lenoir Greenway. The race will start and finish at the Lenoir Rotary Soccer Complex parking lot. Both races will begin with a color party, the Pup Run course will have an additional 2 color points and the Big Dawg will have 4.</p> <p><span style="font-size:18pt">All race registrants will receive: a white Shepherds for Sheepdogs T-shirt to wear in the event as well as a bandana, a pair of sunglasses, and an individual color bomb. All finishers will receive a custom dog tag medal!</span></p> <p><span style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )"><strong>VIP Big Dawg Ticket:</strong> </span>includes 2 additional individual color bombs and a limited-time Sgt. Your furry friend is welcomed with open paws but must remain leashed</li><li>The more color the better! Your tutus, inflatable t-rex costumes, and neon knee socks are not only encouraged but <em>double-dogged-dared!</em></li><li>Your race kit will include a &#39;color saver&#39; if you wish to memorialize your color forever, if not, simply wash it out.
