"Sayles & Sayles Foundation One Step At A Time" Race Information

<p><b>The Sayles &amp; Sayles Foundation was founded in 2017, in honor of our two sons, Joseph &amp; Kenneth Sayles. Both brothers passed away 5 weeks a part. At the age of 40, Joseph passed away of a heart attack and at the age of 17, Kenneth passed away from Glioblastoma (Brain Cancer). We are working together to make a difference in our community and beyond the walls of our city. We are here to encourage, educate and support those effected with heart disease and childhood cancer supporting their families and friends.</b></p> <p><b>SAVE THE DATE!!  November 15, 2025!!!</b></p> <p><b>LIVE (in-person) and VIRTUAL event. The In-person event will be held in Houston, TX, as well as a virtual walk to have families from around the USA hold One Voice Walks in their communities. </b></p> <p><b>***LIVE IN PERSON*** Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 9:00 am</b></p> <p><b>**All participants will receive a custom tee shirt and a finisher medal**</b></p> <p><b>PACKET PICK UP:<br />8:30 AM race HQ at Generation Park, 250 Assay St., Houston, TX 77044<br /> <br />RACE-DAY SCHEDULE:<br />9:00am Prayer/Pledge<br />9:10am 1K (.62 mile) and 5K (3.2 miles) Race Begins<br />9:15am Course Closes</b></p> <p><strong>The Sayles &amp; Sayles Scholarship Fund is given to H.S. Seniors attending college and those in need of financial assistance as they undergo treatment, and the American Heart Society.
