<p>Plans are being made for the 16th annual Santa Scuttle.  The 2025 Christmas Festivities will be held December 12-14 in Comanche, so check back for an updated list of activities!</p> <p> </p> <p>$20.00 17 and under (Before 11/14/25)</p> <p>$30.00 18 and over</p> <p> </p> <p>Like to RUN or WALK?? Like the CLASS of 2026?? If so, here is a chance to support the Comanche High School’s senior class. </p> <p>Each year, the seniors host the Santa Scuttle to raise money for the annual Project Graduation Celebration. This year&#39;s 5k is on Saturday, December 13, at 4:30. Celebrate on the square, get your steps in, and support a great cause by giving the seniors a safe drug and alcohol-free after-graduation party.</p> <p> </p> <p>Entry fee for 5K includes a 2025 Santa Scuttle LONG SLEEVE t-shirt and Santa hat.   </p> <p>Extra shirts may be purchased by the early registration date of 11/14/25.</p> <p>WEAR YOUR BEST CHRISTMAS COSTUME!!!</p> <p>T-shirt guaranteed with early registration only by 11/14/25!!  ***No shirts will be available with race day registration!! ***</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>AWARDS</p> <p>MEDALS  will be awarded to the overall male &amp; female finishers, and the top 3 </p> <p>finishers in the following age groups: Male &amp; Female 11 &amp; under, 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-79, 80 &amp; over</p> <p> </p> <p>RACE WEEKEND ITINERARY (*subject to change) </p> <p>Be sure to check the Explore Comanche Facebook page for more information about any of these events!!</p> <p>Explore Comanche Ice Rink – The Ice Skating Rink will reopen Friday, 12/6 at 5:00 pm and will be available every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until 12/22.</p> <p><br /><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Friday, 12/12 -</strong></span></p> <p>Join us for the Community Christmas Tree Lighting from 5-7 PM on the Historic Comanche Square. Enjoy cookies from &#64;Western Hills Healthcare Residence, and bring an ornament to hang on the tree!</p> <p><br /><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Saturday, 12/13 – </strong></span></p> <p>Bring the kids to Comanche Mercantile for Santa&#39;s Workshop from 12 - 4 pm, sponsored by CASA.</p> <p><br />Children’s Author Matt Rush will read Marshmallow Cowboy at &#64;JW Hardin at 1:00 PM.</p> <p><br />Pictures with Santa – Texas Rural Living Building – 3:00 to 5:00 pm</p> <p><br />Santa 5K Scuttle Benefitting the Comanche High School Class of 2026 (Packet pick-up and race day registration will begin at 3:30 pm on the courthouse steps.)</p> <p><br />Lighted Christmas Parade 6 p.m. downtown Comanche </p> <p><br />Texas Rural Living Driving Christmas Light Tour (check out their Facebook Page for list)</p> <p><br /><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Sunday, 12/14 - </strong></span></p> <p>Join us at Legacy Estates for the Jingle Mingle and Tour of Homes! Sip on holiday drinks, enjoy yummy snacks, and then stroll around town for the Tour of Homes from 1 PM - 5 PM to see beautiful decorations and Christmas trees.</p>
