<p><strong>The Santa Barbara Running Association (SBRA) offers a great way to start the New Year</strong>!</p> <p>Resolve to race into 2026 by joining us at Leadbetter Beach for an invigorating Santa Barbara waterfront 5K &amp; 10K run or walk on New Year’s Day.</p> <p>Runners will receive a discounted price for choosing to run both the 10K &amp; 5K.</p> <p>Runners under 18 years of age pay only $20 (plus fees), please use the following discount code when registering: <strong>UNDER18</strong></p> <p>SBRA Adult Members receive $10 off, SBRA Junior Grand Prix members race for FREE! Discount codes will be sent to all SBRA members. </p> <p>SBRA events benefit the greater running community, school, youth and club running programs throughout Santa Barbara County.</p> <p>Looking for even more of a challenge, participants can double up and race both events!</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Event details - January 1st, 8-11:00 AM:</strong></p> <p>9:00 AM, 5K (3.1 Miles)<br />9:45 AM, 10K (6.2 Miles)</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Event options:</strong></p> <p>5K (3.1 Miles), Run or Walk (Junior Grand Prix Race)<br />10K (6.2 Miles), Run or Walk (Grand Prix Race)</p> <p>Or do both races for the New Year’s 15K Double!</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Race Location:</strong></p> <p>SB Waterfront Path – Start/Finish line area – Leadbetter Beach, Santa Barbara CA.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Packet Pickup:</strong></p> <p><br />Packet pickup/late registration opens at 8:00 am at Leadbetter Beach.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>SBRA Grand Prix: </strong></p> <p>The 10K run is the inaugural SBRA Grand Prix event for 2026 (5K for the Junior Grand Prix).</p> <p>Compete against fellow runners throughout the year in Santa Barbara’s best races!</p> <p>Become a member of the SBRA and sign up for the Grand Prix by going to: <a href="https://sbrunning.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://sbrunning.org/</a></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Registration Pricing:</strong></p> <p><br />All races are $50. Runners are allowed to “double up” for 15k of racing for an additional $10.
