<p><strong><span style="font-size:18pt">San Mateo PAL in collaboration with Stride for Awareness present:</span></strong></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:24pt"><strong>PAL&#39;s 5K Run/Walk and Wellness Fair</strong></span></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Join us May 30, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. - Noon at <span style="background-color:rgb( 241 , 196 , 15 )">Seal Point Park</span> in San Mateo. This day is dedicated to supporting health and mental wellness, encouraging community partnerships and educating about diverse resources.</strong></p> <p><strong>5K Run/Walk (Participation Fee) </strong><br /><strong>Start the day with a 5K Run or Walk <span style="background-color:rgb( 241 , 196 , 15 )">on the bay trail at Seal Point Park!</span></strong><span style="background-color:rgb( 241 , 196 , 15 )"> </span>Strollers and dogs are welcome with mindfulness to other participants. Race T-shirt included in registration. </p> <p>Stay after the 5K Run/Walk to attend our FREE Wellness Fair <span style="background-color:rgb( 241 , 196 , 15 )">at Seal Point Park</span> that starts at 9 a.m.</p> <p><strong>****When registering for the 5K, you don&#39;t need to register for the Wellness Fair. This is included in your ticket purchase.****</strong></p> <p> <br /><strong>Wellness Fair (Complimentary) </strong><br />Join San Mateo PAL for the <strong>Wellness Fair at Seal Point Park starting at 9:00 am</strong>. This fair features community, health and wellness vendors.</p> <p><strong>The Wellness Fair is FREE to all event attendees! </strong></p> <p>-----------------------------------------------------</p> <p><strong>Start/Join a Team for the 5K Run/Walk!  </strong><br />*Prize Opportunity! The Team Lead with the highest team participation on event day will win an exclusive prize.  </p> <p><strong>Create a Race Group/Team </strong><br />During registration, you will be asked the question: &#34;Would you like to join or create a Group/Team?&#34; Select “Yes.”  </p> <p>Choose a Group Type:  </p> <p>Friends and Family<br />Team Building<br />Student/Youth Groups <br />Come up with a Group Name. Some ideas could be:  </p> <p>Wellness Warriors <br />Advocates for Awareness <br />Not Fast, Just Furious <br />Run Like the Winded <br />Students for Mental Health <br />Sole Mates <br />Complete registration. Your group is now active!   </p> <p><strong>Join a Group </strong></p> <p><strong>Method 1 </strong></p> <p>During registration, you will be asked the question: &#34;Would you like to join or create a Group/Team?&#34; Select “Yes.” </p> <p>Choose the Group Name you would like to join.  </p> <p><strong>Method 2 </strong></p> <p>On the event page, navigate to the menu tab labeled “More.” Select “Group/Teams.”  </p> <p>You will see a list of active groups. If you see the name of the group you want to join, click the green “Join” button.
