<h3>Lets get our Kids to compete in a Swim Run Race! </h3> <h3> </h3> <h3><span style="color:#333300"><strong>This part of the <a href="https://runsignup.com/floridaraceday.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"><em>Florida Race Day </em></a> Kids Triathlon/ Duathlon Series - We limit these races to kids ages 5-14 only and to only 100 athletes and do sell out so we advise if you are interested to register early. </strong></span></h3> <p><span style="color:#333300"><strong> </strong></span></p> <h5><span style="color:#993300">Kids Swim Run Race participants will swim laps in the pool and off to their feet for the running portion until they finish under the Arch to complete their achievement.   The events will be chip timed with a finisher time. </span></h5> <h5> </h5> <h5><span style="color:#993300">Distances are based on the age of the child.  The events will go off with each participant getting a total net time. For the first stage swimmers will be crossing a timing mat before they begin swim portion.  Kids Swim Run Race start time is 9:00 am,  Race distance is determined by child&#39;s age ( see below) </span></h5> <p> </p> <h3><span style="color:#333333"><span style="color:#333333"><b><span style="background-color:#f1c40f">Ages 5-8</span> - <span style="color:#236fa1">SWIM 50 yards ( 2 lengths ) in pool</span>, Run approximately .28 miles </b></span></span></h3> <h3><strong><span style="color:#333333"><span style="background-color:#f1c40f">Ages 9-11</span> - <span style="color:#236fa1">SWIM 100 yards ( 4 lengths) in pool</span>, Run Approximately .55 miles </span></strong></h3> <h3><strong><span style="color:#333333"><span style="background-color:#f1c40f">Ages 12-14</span> - <span style="color:#236fa1">SWIM 150 yards ( 6 lengths)  in pool<span style="color:#000000">, Run approximately .80 miles</span></span></span></strong></h3> <p> </p> <p>Before the event starts will be going over the course for parents and athletes. This will take place at 8:30 am </p> <h5><span style="color:#993300">Kids receive a Kids Swim Run Race Shirt, Florida Race Day Finisher medal, Race Photos. Please bring a reusable water bottle that you will bring with you during the race or for afterwards. You may refill your bottle at our water jug.
