715 N College AveThe Running for Recovery 5K is South Arkansas’ first race dedicated to mental health and addiction recovery awareness. This event is a collaborative effort between Newhaven Counseling & Health Services (all locations) and Newhaven Recovery Lodge, uniting the community in support of those on the path to healing.
Why We Run:
Mental health and addiction affect individuals and families across all walks of life, yet resources for treatment and recovery are often out of reach. This race is more than just a run—it’s an opportunity to break the stigma, raise awareness, and rally together as a community in support of those seeking a fresh start.
Where the Proceeds Go:
All proceeds from the Running for Recovery 5K will go directly into our scholarship fund, which helps individuals afford treatment services and essential care at Newhaven. By participating, you are helping to remove financial barriers and giving someone a chance at a better future.
