<p><span style="font-size: small;">JOIN US for the Veterans' Day 5k on Saturday, November 8, 2025, benefiting the American Legion Post 207!&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: small;">ABOUT THE CAUSE:</span></strong></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">The Tucker American Legion Post 207 strives to provide Veterans a sacred place dedicated to improving the lives of veterans and our community.&nbsp; We accomplish this through our motto of "Rescue-Restore-Repay":</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>RESCUE</strong>: Seek out veterans in crisis or needing a mission.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>RESTORE</strong>: Promote good health and good skills.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>REPAY</strong>: Pay back with community support and community fun.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">The Veteran's Day 5K serves as both a fundraising opportunity for the Post as well as an opportunity to interact with the local Tucker community,&nbsp; Veterans, and non-Veterans alike.&nbsp; Proceeds collected from the race will further the Post's missions of "<em><strong>Rescue-Restore-Repay</strong></em>" for Veterans in the Tucker and surrounding area.</span></p><h4>Event details and schedule</h4><p></p><p><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>RACE START TIMES:</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">5K starts @ 8:00 a.m.</span></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: small;">COST:</span></strong></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">5K - $40 until October 31st @ 11:59 pm</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">5K - $55 November 1st to race day</span></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: small;">RACE DAY REGISTRATION:</span></strong></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">Race day registration will be held at the start/finish line (on the west side of Tucker High School) in the parking lot on the Chamblee Tucker Rd side of the High School,&nbsp;<span>starting at 6:30 am.&nbsp;</span>All race parking is located at 5036 Lavista Road, Tucker, GA 30084&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: small;">COURSE:</span></strong></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">NEW certified course for 2025 that can be used for your 2026 Peachtree Road Race qualifier.</span></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: small;">PACKET PICK-UP:</span></strong></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">Pick up your packet on race day, beginning at 6:30 am at the start/finish in the parking lot on the west side of the school off Chamblee Tucker Rd.</span></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: small;">AWARDS:</span></strong></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">Overall M/F 5K; Masters M/F 5K; Age Groups 3 deep 5K - 19 and Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and up</span></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: small;">TSHIRTS: &nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">All participants registered by October 27th will be guaranteed a race t-shirt.&nbsp; Any participants registered on October 28th or later are not guaranteed a shirt, so sign up early!</span></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: small;">PARKING:</span></strong></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">Plenty of parking at Tucker High School, located at 5036 Lavista Rd, Tucker, GA.</span></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: small;">This race is CHIP-TIMED!</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: small;">&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">&nbsp;</span></p>
