Organizer's Description

Join us in Springfield Nebraska on Saturday October 4th for the 2nd Annual Run the Platte Half, 10K, & 5K. 

Registration

Includes: professional timing, long-sleeved running shirt, custom finisher medal, overall finisher awards, and PUMPKIN PIE!

**Shirts and sizes cannot be guaranteed for registrations after September 10** 

Race Day info

  • Half Start Time: 8:00AM
  • 5K / 10K Start Time: 8:15AM
  • Start/Finish Location: MoPac trailhead parking lot on the corner of NE-50 & NE-31
  • Arrival: Be at the starting line 10 minutes before your start time.

Course

  • Both 10K & 5K courses are out and backs on the MoPac Trail. The Half Marathon course will follow the MoPac Trail and cross the Platte River and continue along dirt roads. 
  • Aid Stations: approximately every 2 miles and will include water, Gatorade, snacks & band-aids 
  • Time Limit: 4 Hours (12:00pm cutoff)

Strollers and Dogs are welcome on the course, please be mindful of other runners. 

Refunds will not be issued 

Inclement Weather - Race will be held rain or shine. Race may be canceled/postponed if conditions present potential danger to participants.
