Join us for another year of family fun at "Run Like the Dickens!" This one-mile fun run will be held at Main Beach, Amelia Island on Saturday, December 13, 2025, starting at 8:30AM. Check-in and onsite registration opens at 7:30am. Please meet at the Sandbar Amelia Island and look for the registration table.
Come early for the pre-race warm up, courtesy of the YMCA. It'll get you fired up for the fun! The course will be a simple out, round the tree, and back beach run, direction may change based on conditions. Please note that this is not a chipped race. The awards ceremony will take place at the Sandbar Amelia Island directly following the race and Santa will be onsite for photo ops.
The Sandbar Amelia Island, is offering a breakfast combo for $9 which includes:
- choice of breakfast sandwich, or Nana Teresa Pastry
- choice of Hot Chocolate, or Coffee.
The breakfast combo will be served at the snack shack window starting around 8am. They will also open early for brunch; around 9:30am.
Register online through Friday, November 21st until 5:00PM to receive an official Run Like the Dickens t-shirt. If you register after 11/21 or onsite, we will do our best to have a t-shirt mailed to you or available for pick-up at the Welcome Center. This year, we will have youth sized shirts as an option.
All are welcome - including kids and dogs. Costumes are encouraged! Laughs are guaranteed!
