Lace up your running shoes and channel your inner Forrest Gump at our 5K run in Kemah! Starting and finishing at the iconic Kemah Boardwalk, this Forrest-themed race will have you feeling like you "just felt like running." This year's Run Forrest Run 5k is a new addition to Kemah Boardwalk’s Salute to Military weekend and is proudly benefitting the Gary Sinise Foundation—because that’s what Lt. Dan would want!

Come dressed up as your favorite version of Forrest Gump because after the race, we have our Forrest Gump look alike contest. Then celebrate a run well done by enjoying some shrimp and seafood at Bubba Gump, and experience all that Kemah Boardwalk has to offer. So, what are we sitting on a park bench waiting for? It’s time to Run, Forrest, Run!
