<h2><span style="color:rgb( 224 , 62 , 45 )"><em><strong>24th Annual Run for Angels: Run for a Cause!</strong></em></span><br /> </h2> <p>Lace up your shoes for the teenage girls of Angel&#39;s House! For 24 years, our community has supported Newnan-Coweta Angel&#39;s House, Inc., a licensed community-based children&#39;s shelter providing vital services and more than 40,000 restful nights to hundreds of foster girls removed from dire situations of abuse and neglect.</p> <p>The Run for Angels 5k/10k Road Race and Fun Run on Saturday, February 7, 2026, is our sole fundraising event. Your participation directly supports the teenage girls who call Angel&#39;s House home!</p> <p> </p> <h4><strong>Race Details &amp; Registration</strong></h4> <p>Join us for a beautiful, certified course through historic downtown Newnan, GA. The start/finish line is on Salbide Ave, next to the First United Methodist Church Parish Hall.</p> <p><br /><strong>T-SHIRTS:</strong> You must be registered by January 17, 2026, to be guaranteed a race t-shirt!</p> <p>*Walkers and strollers are welcome, but absolutely no pets on the course or in the Parish Hall.</p> <p> </p> <h4><strong>Schedule &amp; Logistics</strong></h4> <p>Race Location: First United Methodist Church Parish Hall, Newnan, Georgia (Start/Finish on Salbide Ave).</p> <p>7:00am- Race day registration and packet pick-up</p> <p>8:00am- Fun Run Start</p> <p>8:15am- Warm-up</p> <p>8:20am- AH Talk/National Anthem/Prayer</p> <p>8:30am- 5K/10K Start</p> <p>9:30am- Awards</p> <p>9:00am-12:30pm Chicken Q Service</p> <h4><br /><strong>Packet Pick-up:</strong></h4> <p><strong><em>Early Pick-up</em></strong>: Friday, February 6, 2026, from 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the Newnan First United Methodist Church Parish Hall (33 Greenville St, Newnan).<br /><em><strong>Race Day</strong></em>: Starting at 7:00 am on Saturday, February 7, 2026.<br /> <br /> </p> <h4><strong>Awards &amp; Group Registration</strong></h4> <p>Our races use the latest RFID chip-timing technology for accurate, instant results.</p> <p><em><strong>Awards:<br /></strong></em>Overall M/F finishers and Overall M/F Masters finishers for both the 5K and 10K.<br />1st, 2nd, &amp; 3rd place in age groups from 10 &amp; under to 75 &amp; over.</p> <p><strong><em>Group Registration:</em></strong> Schools, organizations, and companies are encouraged to register as a group! A prize will be awarded to the top team with the most participation.
