Run Drugs Out Of Town -Shiawassee FAN Race Information

<p>Join us for our 5th annual 5k Run or 5k Walk on Saturday, September 6th at McCurdy Park, Corunna, MI. to support the <span style="color:#e67e23"><b><a style="color:#e67e23" href="https://www.familiesagainstnarcotics.org/shiawassee" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Shiawasse County Chapter of Families Against Narcotics (FAN)</a></b></span>.  FAN supports recovery from drugs and alcohol and provides education for parents and students in Shiawassee County to avoid addictions and human trafficking. FAN supports the ANGEL Program with the Michigan State Police Post, HOPE NOT HANDCUFFS, the Owosso Police Department, Prevention Network with the &#39;Hidden in Plain Sight Trailer&#39;, DEFY (Drug Education for Youth) Program and &#39;Human Trafficking Program&#39; with the Shiawassee County Sheriff&#39;s Department.  </p> <p> </p> <p><b>Pricing</b> <b>Pre-Registration</b> $25 until 8/27 includes a t-shirt.  <b>Late Registration</b> 8/28 to 9/06 $30 t-shirt not guaranteed and available as supplies last. Be sure to preregister for the race! </p> <p> </p> <p>FAN invites kids under 18 years to PRE-REGISTER and run for FREE - <b>THIS INCLUDES FREE REGISTRATION, FREE TEE, MEDAL, WATER AND A BAR.  <i>Simply register for the race and kids ages 18 and under are automatically charged a $0 entry fee.</i></b></p> <p> </p> <p><b>Winner Awards </b>- Gold, Silver, and Bronze large medals will be given to the top 3 places in the following age groups:  Male and Female: 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70&#43;.  </p> <p> </p> <p><b>Race Swag</b> All PRE-REGISTRANTS will receive a tee shirt, water and a bar.  Shirts are available in Youth Small through Adult XXLarge with registration by 8/28. Shirts available as supplies last after 8/28. </p> <p> </p> <p><b>Donations</b> are most appreciated! Learn how to run for <span style="color:#e03e2d"><b>FREE</b></span> with a donation, information listed below.</p> <p> </p> <p><b>Volunteer opportunities</b> are available and needed!  Please go to the Volunteer tab and sign up.  This includes a free tee, and a voucher for an on-sight coffee.</p> <p> </p> <p><b>Packet pickup</b> will begin at 8:00 AM on race day morning. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>NEW LOCATION FOR 2025 - McCurdy Park River Trail in Corunna</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>Join FAN in Owosso on 9/06 at 9am for a Patriotic Run helping to address issues of drug and alcohol addiction that so many of our loved ones are faced with. The Saturday Farmer&#39;s Market will be in full swing selling fall harvests and sweet treats just a few blocks away.  </p> <p> </p> <p>The race will be professionally timed by the <span style="color:#060e93"><b>Michigan Running Foundation</b></span>. Results will be live during the race and on this website.</p>
